Decent hotel. We got to stay in the newer part of the hotel. Reception was friendly, wifi was quality, room was small but not overly uncomfortable. That’s the only reason I gave 4 stars, everything else about it was great
Very nice lokaled near the most important sights. Rooms beautiful, big and clean.
Breakfast is small but you find everything you want. Staff is friendly and helpful. Next time again. Thank you for a wonderful time in Venice.
The reviews here are all accurate depending on what building you find yourself in. We were in the annexe and it was so disappointing. The room was so small and i am guessing we could have got a better deal elsewhere but my travel agent...More
We made reservations through our travel agent back in May. She reserved a Classic Room for our 2 night stay. Upon arrival the front desk assigned us a tiny room on the 3rd floor. Elevator to 2nd floor then a steep flight of steps up....More

Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a
strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.

From San Zaccaria boat station, take the street named Calle delle Rasse and continue until you reach a farmacy. You are now in a little square named Campo di san filippo e giacomo. Once you are in the "campo", take the street named Calle drio la chiesa (on the left side) and turn left onto the street named Calle di fianco alla chiesa before reaching the bridge. Pass the porch on your right and you immediately find our private bridge that leads you to the hotel.
