We stayed 3 nights at this hotel in June. The room was very small, necessitating some juggling of suitcases, but beautifully arranged - clean, light, stylish and tasteful, with wonderful views of the lagoon. Just a short distance from the tourist bustle - we walked...More
Sitting poised, between the popular sights and frenzy of the tourist area, and a working neighborhood, this hotel offered everything we could have hoped for. Great view, good people and the perfect location.
Great little hotel - close to the centre with a lovely outlook down the water towards Venice. The staff were very friendly and willing to help, the room was comfy, clean and relatively spacious, and the air coniditioning was very welcome. Overall, we'd go back...More

Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a
strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.

Dear Mrs. Trinch,
from the Airport Marco Polo you can take a Water Taxi direct to our Hotel jetty, the taxi can take up to 8 people plus luggage; the cost for 6 people and luggage should be 120.00/130.00 Euro and the ride will take only 30 minutes.
You can also reserve it in advance from the Venezia Taxi website
In alternative there is the public Shuttle Boat ALILAGUNA Blue Line to Arsenale, it cost 15.00 Euro per person and takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
If you send us a direct email we can provide you with detailed instructions on a pdf file.
Looking forward to the pleasure of hearing further from you, we remain,
with best regards,
