Dark small room, bed has seen better days, room not well cleaned. Bathroom is freshly renovated and clean. Wifi does not work in room, signal is to weak, in lobby works but no plugs. Although it has currently only 12 degrees at night there is no heater available. was told its against Venice policy to heat after April, which is...

Recommended. Our stay in this hotel was fantastic. The hotel is really nice, close to a vaporetto station, the staff was so helpful with us. Cozy, spacious and clean rooms, delicious breakfast. I think there wouldn't be a better place to stay in Venice.

Clean, luxurious and friendly staff. Highly recommended. A great location to go exploring from. We loved our stay here and will visit again. The linen smelt lovely and we had a great view out of our room. You get more than you pay for here.

Stayed here recently with my boyfriend. Great location, just across the grand canal from the main touristy area so prices are slightly lower but you can get to everywhere easily on foot or by public transport. We loved our room, it was well decorated and had everything we needed. Mini bar was reasonably priced and staff were helpful when needed....

A very nice place to be in Venice. The host is very friendly and speaks several languages with her guests. A nice room and some satisfying breakfast rounded this nice stay directly at Canale Grande. I just can recommend this hotel for some short stay in Venice.

It's nice and clean, very friendly staff, good location for the price! 10 min walk from San Marco square. Our room was quite small though even though I was the one paying this trip, my friends had way more spacious room. Did it have something to do with me us being 2 females and them being male and female? .......

The perfect mix of professional and local. Don't let the name of junior sweet fool you because t is fit for a king. Great proximity to galleries, churches and local restaurants. A slice of life in Venice. I would give it 6 stars if possible.

Ca'Zose is a lovely place to stay indeed. Within an easy reach of a few waterbus stops and just a short walk to Accademia bridge the locatIon is just brilliant. The staff were super friendly, rooms are beautiful and very clean. Would certainly choose the place again.

We arrived after 31 hours travelling. Robert and his team made us feel very welcome. Our rooms were well presented and very clean. We will stay here again. We were close to cafes and pubs plus we are removed from the tourist hotspots which were still a short walk away

The hotel is located in the dorsoduro district and a ten minute (with suitcases) walk from the Zattere water bus station. We took the blue alilaguna line from the airport and walked from there to the hotel. The hotel might be a little difficult to find if you haven't done your research before arriving, but we had printed a google...

Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighbourhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbours exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
