This was our first time in Venice and I was very thankful we picked this hotel. The hotel itself is a lovely size, room and bathroom were nicely done, but as the others have said, it is the staff and high lever of service that set it apart. The hotel is in a quieter part of Venice which is good because it was quieter but bad because it was a walk to get everywhere. The hotel itself is lovely and very well taken care of. The patio where we ate breakfast every morning is charming and private. Our room was a comfortable size for two people and the bathroom was very modern. We had an amazing view of the canal which could be right out of a movie. Now, the staff. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted warmly and until we left, with the highest level of service and with a smile. Michele was a delight, and I enjoyed seeing him every morning and having a chat. He took excellent care of us always. Poor guy ran up the flights of stairs to meet us and our luggage when we got out to show us to our room. We took a couple private water taxis around which is the way to go, but they are not cheap. We did not try the public water taxis but they were always full. The front desk called to make the water taxi arrangements for us easily. They also called around to see what pizza places were open for us. I highly recommend staying here. There are charming restaurants within a few minutes walk and as a bonus it was a short walk to get to and from the parking garage. Thank you Hotel Moresco!

What makes this hotel stand out, in my opinion, is the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that we were their priority, nothing was too much trouble. They made excellent dinner suggestions and made reservations for us. The breakfast service was impeccable. We couldn't have asked to be better cared for during our stay. The hotel is also remarkably clean.

We stayed in Moresco hotel 4 nights the first week of August. I have to confirm all the good reviews. The hotel is very lovely, stylish, cozy and clean, nicely furnished, It has a nice atmosphere. Very good located, just 5 min walking from vaporetto Piazzale Roma or Station Ferrovia. Or 25 min. of very nice walking from San Marco square through nice, picturesque streets over canals, passing many interesting and lovely places, cafés, restaurants… We had a room no. 202, which was really nice, spacious, with small terrace and beautiful bathroom! Breakfast was good, wide choice of anything, good coffee, fruits…., all that on nice terrace which is part of the hotel where you can quietly relax. All the staff at reception was nice, especially one man that I forgot the name of – but that one was super nice! We had a really great time in Venice, it was not empty, but definitely not overcrowded in this pandemic times. So beginning of August was definitely good time to go. Just be careful if you want to experience a gondola tour. We picked one near Ponte di Rialto. Instead of 30 min of sailing our gondola-guy (gondolier) cut it down to 20 min. without explanation and still wanted the 80 Eur (which is a regulated price – everywhere the same for tour during day 30 min. = 80 Eur). So after some argue we also cut the price to half. But still, the gondolier ruined our gondola tour and experience. We were not the only ones as we figured out later. So be very careful with the gondoliers! Some of them are nasty cheaters and watch the time. Pay only when you get what you are supposed to get. And! For some of you that are considering the options how to get to the hotel from the airport. I definitely recommend to take a water taxi. I know, it costs 120 Eur, but it really is worth it. It is very classy, great and unique experience! Quick entering to the city, no crowds, just pure pleasure! Come on, where else you can take a water taxi from the airport?

We only had one night at this property but we loved it! The location is perfect! Very close to the heart of Venice without all of the noise and tourists. Located on a smaller canal so the water taxis and boat transportation from the airport can easily pull right up to the property. The staff is extremely friendly and offered us a welcome drink upon arrival. Our room was small and a bit dark but we reserved a basic room as we knew we would be out all day. The breakfast in the garden was perfect before leaving for the airport. My daughter and I truly enjoyed our stay and we would return!

This has to be one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. Location, comfort, hospitality, breakfast - all matchless. All staff are friendly and helpful no matter what the request. It is deliciously cool and upon arrival you are offered a refreshing drink. Nothing was too much trouble - whatever we requested was greeted with a smile. Breakfast is taken in the delightful serene garden and is individually served. The decor is luxuriously oriental and the rooms are supplied with every conceivable amenity. Wonderfully located in a quiet corner of Venice yet very close to the bus and railway station with a choice of three vaporetto stops to choose from. I would not hesitate to recommend this jewel to anyone looking for the best comfort, the best service all at a reasonable price.
