Venice is just a very beautiful place, after a long day there I ended my day at the Grand Canal, we took the Gondola around the city and then had dinner in one of the restaurants at the Canal , the place is just amazing 😊 can't wait to visit it again.

One of the most beautiful buildings, let alone hotels I have ever visited. The communal rooms were truly spectacular and such a pleasure to relax, dine and drink in. The hotel staff were very kind and personable. Spa is highly recommended. They also kindly let me bring my dog (small chihuahua).

Through the small streets of venice you will discover the bautyful black colored iron door which lead you in a stone covered way to the hotel trance. You get the door open and you will deserve a professional kind welcoming. The rooms are a kind of ! Service is perfect. The Ambiente is a dream. Enjoy every day ! with...

Had the pleasure of spending a couple of nights here. The rooms are extremely spacious and appointed to an incredibly high level. The whole building oozes class, style and comfort without being over imposing. Staff are helpful and friendly in a very low key way. The vast public rooms are immaculately decorated. With so few rooms it really feels like...

This is my 4th Aman, but I was unsure what to expect as this is the first non-Asia Aman I will be staying at. However, my worry was simply unfounded! Firstly, what is great about Aman is the gold service standard starts even at the reservation centre -- I was assisted with Salina Rawi, who is very helpful, prompt, and...

We have just spent 3 glorious nights at this exceptional hotel. The staff made you feel right at home, there was no pretense at all and you were welcomed like family. The guest rooms are huge which is rare in Venice and are equiped with every concievable luxury, right down to the full size bathroom ammenities. After the hustle and...

This is our third Aman. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Everything is perfection. Their attention to detail and remembering every little thing about their guests is unsurpassable. Only two small bits of feedback: On our way to our 2nd floor bedroom, I would suggest closing the doors to the kitchen, which are always open....

We and 16 friends stayed at the Aman Grande Canal for my husband's birthday. I cannot say enough. The service was impeccable, the food fabulous and the whole trip amazing. The attention to detail was exceptional. The hotel recommended places for us to eat for lunches and dinners and organised tours, gondolas and even a photographer. All was brilliant. The...

I am writing a review to express my gratitude to the staff and management of Aman. Needless to say the hotel is classy, elegant and quiet. There is always staff who are willing to help with a big smile. The reception, concierge and the restaurant are nice and I feel very welcomed, which is rare in the five star hotels....

I am new to Trip Advisor and signed up solely by the encouragement of the many guests that were at my rehearsal dinner at the Aman Venice in October who could not believe how I was treated while planning this Rehearsal Dinner Party. Mind you I roll with most everything and did just that while planning this Dinner for 38...

Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
