Me and my husband stayed in this bed & breakfast for 3 nights. The location of this b&b is fantastic. Easy to access from Rialto's Bridge. The rooms are very clean , cozy and the bed was nice and comfortable. The management is very friendly. Bed and Breakfast A Le Boteghe is an excellent choice when visiting Venice.

We stayed here for three nights late September and would recommend it to anyone. It's in a great location and the rooms are well sized, comfortable and very clean. Clara was very helpful throughout and we'll be booking again when we go back.

Unit has AC, is quiet at night, feels safe, is conveniently located. Room was very spacious and had an ensuite bathroom. Giordano helped us get our luggage in and did a good job with orientation. Clara was accommodating with allowing us to leave our luggage after checkout and left access to a bathroom for us upon our return for the...

This gorgeous b & b is run by Clara and her family. Once your at Venice station Saint Lucia you take number one ferry taxi to Sant Angelo where you would disembark and you will be met to be taken to your destination. Situated in the heart of Venice it's only a 10 minute walk from Saint mark's square and...

This is walking distance and very easy way to remember from the Accademia, though you need to cross the bridge. However Giordano will ask you to deboard at St. Angelo stop and he comes there to accompany you to the B&B, but thats a very confusing way and we never tried again. Location is good, the main part of venice...

Im a study abroad student in Florence and I was looking to go to Venice for a weekend away. Came across this BnB and booked for 2 nights. After having a delayed train and not understanding the water taxi schedule I was more than late to arrive. I was greeted with a firm handshake and a warm smile, by Giordano,...

This is a lovely B & B in the heart of Venice - clean, well appointed and very friendly. Very good value for money. The Trip advisor map is incorrect and this is in San Marco between San Marco and the Accademia

Room: 4 night stay in a double room in Sept 2014. The room was beautifully appointed with lovely finishing’s, small and functional private bathroom, TV, good size cupboard and desk. The room is of a decent size and is air conditioned (which worked). The room was serviced every day. Wi-Fi was mostly accessible but certainly better in the dining room....

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Bed and Breakfast A Le Boteghe. Clara and Giordano are wonderful hosts. They met us at the Vaparetto stop to escort us to the B&B. Clara provided a delicious breakfast every morning. Everything was as described on their website. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend to our friends.

Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighbourhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbours exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
