We stayed here for 4 nights beginning of September. It was a great location not far from bus/train station and the walk to the main square wasn't an issue. You end up doing lots of walking around Venice (mainly due to getting lost!) so the walk to st marks sq didn't bother us. Breakfast was basic but did the job...

Room and bathroom were clean. WiFi was very weak in the bedroom, and was sometimes working in communal areas. Breakfast is basic, location is close to station but not too far from st marks square (30 min walk). Good service and staff here. Would recommend to stay

The hotel is located in a nice quiet street, but is also just a short walk from the bus, vaporetto and train stations. Our room was lovely and spacious, and, most importantly for a visit during July, had good air conditioning! The only thing that wasn't great was the breakfast, but we expected that anyway, so I would still give...

Beautiful B&B! Spacious room, fancy terraced breakfast area. Fully automatic window shades in the room were a treat for inquisitive brains. Location of the hotel convenient, within walking distance of train & bus stations. Easy to find at night. Gives great walking experience to all major tourist locations. Very hospitable staff. Loved the experience. Highly recommended!

What we liked: Great location, quiet and away from the busy parts of Venice, easy to walk to from these though. The room was lovely, large and had gorgeous furniture. :0) The staff were very welcoming and efficient. We had a great time here and would definitely recommend it to any travellers going to Venice. We stayed here 3 nights at then end of our Italy trip. The hotel is on a quiet back street with lots of trees. This hotel doesn't have a 24 hour desk, but guests are given gate and door keys. Rooms were spotless, and our bathroom was larger than the one at home. We ate breakfast on the patio, but...

Our room (#3) had incredible views of a lush green courtyard and Venice in the background. Truly amazing. The room was clean and the bathroom was so cutely decorated. The free breakfast was delicious. The best croissants we've ever had, and the coffee . . . delicious and served by wonderful people and on a sweet patio. The only negative...

We were able to check in early and we're thrilled with the spotless, spacious, well appointed rooms..overlooking gorgeous gardens. The location is fantastic and so quiet and secure. We used the outside lounge and dining tables a few times and were able to open the huge windows in our room and enjoy the balmy evenings. I think the breakfast could...

Positives: - Great location, 10 mins walk from the train and bus stations. - Lovely garden to sit in - Peaceful and quiet - Outside breakfast terrace - Spacious room, power points near the bed, great view over the garden next door. Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
