The room, location, breakfast, etc. were all as expected. This B&B is located in Costello, about a 10 minute walk from St. Mark's Square. The area is safe and quiet with a variety of good restaurants nearby. Breakfast each day was very nice with a...More
This is a small B&B with beautiful rooms and wonderful host. We were 2 families with kids and booked 2 Canal view rooms. The host, Floriana and Marcus were wonderful and helped us like family. Marcus came to receive us on the water bus stand...More
What a fantastic 4 days. Lovely b & b in great location. 10 mins walk from San Marco. Floriana was a fabulous host. Nothing too much trouble and very knowledgeable. Great facilities and breakfast! Would definitely recommend and great value for money.
We had a great stay. The staff were fantastic especially Marco. Great coffee and chocolate and eggs for breakfast. Room kinda small but we didn't spend much time there. Incredible chuch across the way with a Bellini.
After lots of research we decided on the B&B Ca' Furlan in Castello. The accommodations are a gem in a worthy Venetian setting along with their rich decor that instantly puts at ease with a sense of home.

Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a
strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.
hi, has anyone arrived at the hotel late evening? I will be getting to Venice at approx 11pm. Was wondering what the best route would be getting to the hotel? any help would be greatly appreciated.
