We had a great stay. The staff were fantastic especially Marco. Great coffee and chocolate and eggs for breakfast. Room kinda small but we didn't spend much time there. Incredible chuch across the way with a Bellini.
After lots of research we decided on the B&B Ca' Furlan in Castello. The accommodations are a gem in a worthy Venetian setting along with their rich decor that instantly puts at ease with a sense of home.

We're sorry for the toiletries' mixup, it was probably an error of our cleaning lady, anyway if you would have asked for it we would have delivered it to your room. Thank...More
We loved our stay in Ca' Furlan and will definitely be back! The staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was beautiful, overlooking the canals of Venice, we couldn't ask for anything more! It was a wonderful start to our trip in Italy...More
Great place to stay a short walk from San Marco Square but away from the touristy areas. One of the hosts, Marco, was especially helpful in providing us recommendations for restaurants, preparing an excellent homemade breakfast each morning, and letting us leave our luggage for...More
Lovely b&b in great location in central Venice. Beautiful rooms some with canal view. Great staff that are very friendly and helpful. We been back twice this year and booked again for next year. Very good value for your money.
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a
strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.

"The street room was very quite although we had open windows. Canal rooms have better view."
