My husband and I stayed here for 3 days. The room is quite spacious as the bedroom and living room area are separate. The rooms and bathroom are very clean, and are cleaned everyday. For an extra 50€ you can use the full kitchen, otherwise...More
Easy walking access to all places in Venice. Location could not be better. Rooms are very large. We are a family of 5 (2 teenagers and a 6 yo) and were very comfortable with more than enough space for us and for our bags. We...More
Checked in yesterday for 3 nights and we couldn't be more pleased. Super friendly staff, the best location, spacious clean rooms. The reason we booked this was for the kitchenette but I didn't think the rooms would be so big. I will definitely return. I...More
Centrally located, comfortable, clean, friendly, spacious room, a well priced haven in an expensive city. It is situated on a canal with easy walking access to St Marks and Rialto, equidistant and only 5 minutes away. Very highly recommended!

The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.

The Vaporetto (water bus) run from just outside the train station to both the Railto and San Marco, costs €7.50/person each way and runs every 15 minutes or so. From the station, you can catch either the white (No.1) or Red (No.2) lines. There is a ticket booth near the pier and the vendors all speak perfect English.
The Rialto stop is slightly closer, and less busy - it's an easy, mostly flat 100-150 yard walk from there to the hotel following the directions from the hotel website.
The Vaporetto is easy and a great Venician experience!
