Sandra B&B was a wonderful start to our European vacation! We had the Attic suite and one of the rooms on the main floor, both were great. We enjoyed some wine on the rooftop patio in the evenings and heeded Sandra and Leonardo's recommendations for...More

We're a little reluctant to sing Sandra and Leonardo's praises, because we'd love to keep them all to ourselves! There simply cannot be a better place to stay in Venice. We had the Campiello room, looking down on the courtyard, which was quiet and comfortable....More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
