We got a good price for this hotel so I was expecting it to be less than perfect, but it far exceeded expectations. Our room for three was opulent and very spacious, the breakfast selection was fantastic, staff went out of their way to be...More
Good service; spacious suite. Jacuzzi tub and nice shower. Breakfast offerings are substantial and nice dining area. The front desk staff were helpful, and gave us two wake up calls and helped with luggage at 3 am.

We stayed here by happenstance as our booked hotel was full. What a happy accident.
The room was large with a pleasant aspect. The en suite facilities were more generous than most. Clean. The traditional Venetian glass chandelier was ubiquitous, and caused much hilarity as...More
The hotel is in a good location within walking distance to the center. Our room was very spacious and decorated in the old style like always in Venice. Breakfast is also very tasty with lots of choices.
Stayed there between 1 February 2017 - 4 February 2017.

The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
Take the public water taxi to St. Marks. I would download google maps as the internet was spotty there and having it offline helped navigate the bridges and streets. 5-10 minute walk, but not a straight line as you have to... More
