This hotel is very basic but the staff and the location more than make up for it. We stay there every year for the stone fair in September it is a 2 minute walk to the arena and the staff are very friendly and accommodating

This is a one star hotel for several reasons. Room clean, bed OK, bathroom had too many “quirks” to avoid commentary. Desk person, Francesco, could have not been more helpful or friendly. Breakfast was actually really good especially considering the one star rating. This hotel thrives due to its location almost next door to Castelvecchio and proximity to the coliseum,... More

A good surprise for a 1 star hotel! Room was clean, old but functional and calm. AC was working fine. Personnel is very friendly. The hotel parking space is very narrow, you'll need time to find a spot and park. The location is the best value, 10 minutes from the arena on foot.

its location is perfect, very close to the Arena and to the river, it's a budget hotel as compared to other hotels in the city, so you cannot expect much luxury; the room was very small but it was clean and AC was ok. It was quiet because it's in the inner courtyard. The terrace is under reconstruction. We did't... More

I booked this hotel because it was one of the cheapest hotels centrally located in Verona. It's about 10 minutes walk to the Arena, and 20 minutes to the train station. It's 1 star, so I didn't expect too much, but the room was recently refurbished and clean. My main concern upon arriving was to learn there is no safe... More

In an expensive city like Verona, this place offers a relatively cheap accommodation 10 minutes walk from the Arena. .It's 1-Star place though. Old but clean, and everything works. Parking is cumbersome, since the receptionist has to take you to a nearby parking and the same when you want your car back. Plan an extra 15 min for this exercise. All... More

Given some of the previous reviews, I expected this place to be meh...but after staying here and comparing it some of our other accomidations, this is a really good value! The room was pretty good size and clean! The elevator works well, the AC did a decent job of cooling off our room, and the location was fabulous. Would stay... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and were disappointed with everything but the location. The bathroom had black mold on the ceiling and grout, the toilet would only flush intermitenttly, the bed was a rock, the pillows were extremely thin and only one per person, even when we requested extra. The furnishings were spartan, with a small table,... More

The place is not new, even old. It has no big sign. But we loved it...I's near to the center, and everything is clean and most of all, the people at the desk are most friendly and welcoming, ready to give all advice and help ( apart from the Indian man who refused us a map ). i like this... More
