We had a large room with just a bed and couch in it. The window faced the street so lots of noise. Nothing cozy in the BnB and the breakfast was minimal and included granola bars and bread. No fruit, milk or eggs. The only thing going for it is close proximity to the Roman coliseum.

First of all the location is great. Beyond that we were all (two couples) very disappointed by this place. The beds were bad quality, the breakfast was not worth eating and our friends reported a "fresh" towel smelling of cigarettes on arrival. We also asked for an 11am checkout and not only was this not allowed, but our keys were...

Excellent location; we walked everywhere. The room was extremely large (especially for Europe) and clean. The room was well-furnished -- not necessarily fancy decor -- but extremely practical with table space, a sitting area, comfortable beds, and a nice en suite. Owners were accommodating about check in/out time and luggage storage, which is often a problem at small B&Bs. We...

We stayed here for one night to see opera performance. This hotel is quite close to the arena, and we were glad since the show finished after midnight! The room was small but adequate, and wifi worked. There was a bit of late street noise, and the breakfast is set up outside the room in a narrow corridor, where you...

The location was excellent, a minute walk to Piazza Bra and couple more to Piazza Erbe. The room was spacious, large beyond belief and very nicely furnished. Breakfast was served in the foyer outside and we had to bring it into the room, but that was no problem since there was a very nice table and comfortable chairs, and my...

We visited Anfiteatro in Verona from the 7th-10th November 2014. This was essentially for a romantic break away for my birthday. Whilst my partner and I were in Verona, we had got engaged! We fell in love with Verona and also Anfiteatro. Roberto and Monica couldn't be more accommodating. They gave us a map and also recommendations for where to...

We stayed here in August 2014. The reason for our visit was our Anniversary and a trip to the Opera. We had informed Roberto via e-mail of the reason for the visit and on our arrival a bottle of Prosecco had been left for us. Monica gave us some recommendations for restaurants and the one we picked was very good....

Right in the centre of Verona within walking distance of the principal sights. Clean, comfortable, elegantly yet simply furnished with a sacious bedroom and bathroom . No dining room, but a table and chairs in the bedroom where we took our breakfast from a buffet area just outside the door. The owners were very friendly and professional. To be recommended.

Anfiteatro is a very lovely B&B right in the heart of Verona. The large rooms are elegant and understated, and the furniture is not just attractive it's comfortable too.The hosts are friendly but discreet, and the breakfast they provide is really something. Our time in the wonderful city of Verona was much enhanced by our stay in this beautiful B&B.

We really loved this place! The central location is sigh of relief and makes sightseeing and going out in Verona a breeze as you can lug all your purchases back to your room within minutes. The rooms are very spacious and the interior design is pleasing on the eye and well though out. The hosts are also friendly and the...

“There was some noise from the street below, but being a retail precinct, this settled down well before bedtime. And we kind've like the buzz. But if you prefer silence during the day as well as at night, you could ask for a room that doesn't face the street.”
