We spent 4 nights at this beautiful place. Located on a hill above the city of Verona, it's a six minute drive to a free parking lot next to the pedestrian bridge entering the old city. Entering the olive grove after a day of travel is like a vacation within a vacation. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and spotless.... More

Agriturismo Sommavalle was a wonderful place to stay just outside the city of Verona. Located in the hills above the city amidst groves of olive trees, this is a perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Marco the owner is fabulous, with tips on where to park close to the city as well as places to see... More

We stayed in Adia room which had a bit of a view of the valley (defiantly all greenery) and was the biggest of the four. The room was nicely decorated and had a great bathroom. Breakfast was awesome with French breads, yogurt, fruit from the farm/garden, home made peach sause, and cereal. The location was good to get to old... More

We stayed for six nights at this wonderful agriturismo. It's only a five or six minute drive (or 10 minute bus ride) away from the city, yet with the experience of the peaceful country. If you are looking for a quiet and comfortable place during your visit to Verona, then this is where you want to be. The house is... More

A wonderful building with superb views in a peaceful location on a hill over Verona. Our room was large and spacious and I loved the woodwork. The bathroom was also large, airy and very... More

My husband and I spent three lovely nights here. Marco is everything everyone else says he is. The perfect host AND travel guide. He suggested "non-touristy" restaurants and places to visit in the surrounding area. We did everything he suggested and our three days couldn't have been better except if we could have stayed longer. The rooms were impeccably clean... More

I spent two nights in this amazing property just a few kilometers from Verona, situated in a magnificent olive grove/orchard. The house itself is furnished in a most stylish manner, and the rooms are huge, with all modern amenities. As I came for the Verona Festival, it was a welcoming respite being in this tranquil place away from crowds in... More

We stayed with Marco for 4 nights, and loved every minute. Very clean, modern room, beautiful view and an easy drive into town. Marco was the best host and gave us tips for restaurants, sites to see, and served a very nice breakfast. It is so nice to escape the busy city to a quiet location that is very peaceful.... More
