First impressions of this hotel were really good. Excellent location near Arco dei Gavi, river and Castelvecchio. Lobby and reception area was very nice and clean too. Receptionist was owner itself as they are family run hotel, so she explained. Unfortunately, we didn't get the value we had expected for our money. Room was very dark, furnished in very old...

The hotel is well located and within walking distance of sites and restaurants. The staff are courteous and helpfull The rooms are clean but small Our bathroom was tiny you could not move in the shower and had a concertina door to it. The breakfast was OK The hop on/hop off bus stop was very close

We (a couple of 65++) stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during Verona Operafestivals. We had a huge (at least 50 sqm) room (supreme) with a small kitchen in the old part and on upmost floor - a cupole roof with painings etc. but otherwise with modern equipment. Very clean. The bathtube was very narrow anda bit dangerrous for...

Booked this property through booking.com as residence castelvechio. The central location next to the castle and the available parking being the deciding factor for us. Travelling as a couple and booked a double room (22). I can say the room was clean and the joined single beds were relatively comfortable. However the door rattled every time anyone walked down the...

Stayed one night. Welcoming and friendly reception staff. For the rate paid, we thought that the Double/Twin room was of poor quality and really in need of some refitting/refurbishing. The location however is very good and easily within walking distance of all notable sights and attractions. Didn't have time to stay for breakfast so can't comment on that.

We were very disappointed with the facilities but it was not expensive, so I guess you get what you pay for! It wasn't advertised as an "apart hotel" so we were surprised to find a kitchen! The bed was hard & needed a new mattress and breakfast was only continental. The location was good and the rest of Verona is...

Not the most plush of hotels but clean and relatively comfortable. Excellent location with parking, right next to the castle. The hotel is pretty basic but for a family of 4 for 1 night more than adequate and would have been fine for a number of nights. Large apartment, with double bedroom, lounge with sofa beds, kitchenette and large bathroom...

We stayed for just 1 night and our greeting was friendly and happy. The hotel is only a 20min walk from the train station or a 5min taxi. Location of the hotel is brilliant for all the sites. We found every aspect of the hotel to our liking except for the breakfast range which we found very narrow, however this...

The only good thing about this Hotel: the location os near to the arena and the old quarter... First they gave us a room in the furthermost corner, one tiny window above the floor, you had to lie down on the floor to look out of it. The kitchenette was ancient and had only 1 cup and 1 glass.... After...
