When we arrived I thought "Oh my God!" its just a door on a backstreet. We arrived late and Stefania text me to ask if we had arrived at the airport and when was she likely to expect us to arrive. This was a great touch which was the start of the fantastic hospitality we experienced during our stay. The...

The rooms are located on the fourth floor of this old building and our room was large and modern. As this is a bed and breakfast check in times are limited. We asked if we could leave our suitcases until the afternoon of our departure but were told this was not possible so we took them to the luggage office...

This is a place that is a little bit unusual. The Bed and Breakfast All'Opera Prima is placed in an old historic building in the center of Verona. A few hundreth meters from the famous arena. Hard to see from the outside, that this really is a Building with a hotel. Reception is found on the 4th floor. You either...

This B & B is right in the centre of the city, next to Piazza Bra and Via Mazzini, the main shopping street. That's the best thing you can say about it. It is reached by a very unprepossessing street entrance with a dingy entrance hall. We found it very awkward to get our heavy cases up the stairs and...

After booking the B&B, we were contacted by the owners to remind us of the 3-6pm check in hours, after arrangement we arrived at 9pm, the lady was very accommodating over the phone, and spoke decent English. When we arrived, she was shocked that we had our daughter with us. I had not thought of mentioning this since she is...

This B & B was our last location after a lovely walking holiday in Lake Garda. In total, we stayed in four so feel our comments/observations justified. We were told to give our approx. arrival time, which we did and were somewhat anxious when we arrived and had to wait on the street with our cases, for someone to eventually...

We booked the B&B based on other reviews we'd seen. We usually have no sense of direction but we got off the bus in the square, walked across and found the street straight away. We'd emailed ahead for checking in but we were early. The owner was already waiting for us and showed us to our room which was huge,...

This B&B's location is both it's greatest asset and the source of its problems. It is very central - just of the Piazza Bra and on a road parallel to Via Mazzini. Access to all the many sights of Verona are within easy walking distance. You can pop back for a siesta after a hard morning's sightseeing or a freshen...

“Take a room at the back of the hotel, over the via Mazzini. It will still be noisy, but not as bad as being over via Alberto Maria.”

“Ask for one of the larger rooms. We understand from a couple who were staying at the same time as us, that some of the rooms that were offered to them were extremely small.”
