We stayed at the campsite for 7 days, renting a 'cabin' (Trailer-like accommodation) for 20 euros between the 3 of us! The campsite is incredibly friendly, lovely bathrooms near the reception area and really friendly, laid back staff. There isn't electricity provided in the cabin (only a light-bulb) however it is very easy to charge phones/cameras in the picnic area...

This campsite was the best one we were to during our trip through Northern Italy. The place has its own atmosphere, the staff is very friendly. There is a separate pitch for each tent, romantically separated by olive trees. The best thing was the stunning view of the city you can enjoy right from the tent. I recommend the place...

I was in Castel San Pietro a year ago, but the memories are still fresh in my mind! It was a great location, gorgeous views, and great accessibility to the center city! The receptionists were a pleasure to work with, both in getting my site booked and finding things to do in Verona. While I do recognize the complaints of...

The botanical gardens where the campsite is set are stunning. You get your own pitch. There are lots of toilet blocks, but some are squat toilets (the main reception area has proper toilets) and all water is drinkable. There is wireless internet and a computer to use for free. There is a shop and they can give you leaflets about...

We had decided to make a one-month roadtrip around Italy and our first step from Nice, France, was Verona. What a nice surprise ... First of all, it was so epic to find our pitch. The reception lady gave us a small key and told us to take the car back, to go downtown, to drive into a VERY small...

Excellent location, on the top of the hill overlooking the city of Verona. The camping can be a bit crowded in August (we had to leave the car outside the camping area, on the street, as there was no more parking space available), which was a bit annoying as we had to carry the tent & its accessories and luggage...

We spent four really fun days at Castel San Pietro and if we wouldn't have had a flight to catch, we would have stayed longer! The campsite is located above the city on a really beautiful property with lots of different plants and ancient walls. From the nearby Castel you have a gorgeous view of the whole city. The guys...

Other reviews are correct, the location and views are exceptional HOWEVER the seriously below par state of the shower and toliet facilities need considering before you book here. Good - Views from the campsite are exceptional and the location is extremely convenient. The site has some beautiful if small and bunched up pitches. Staff are very helpful and knowledgable about...

My girlfriend and I stayed with Camping Castel San Pietro for quite a while during May. We loved it so much that a week after we checked out, we were back again! The guys who run it are very friendly and helpful with everything, and there is often live music being played around dinner time! We have stayed in over...

I stayed with a couple of friends here in May this year and loved the camp site so much we decided to extend our stay. The site was fairly quiet at this time but had a great atmosphere, similar to a hostel, where one can meet people easily throughout the day. The site has fantastic views, good facilities for cooking...
