My husband and I stayed at this lovely b&b with our 3-year-old at the end of August. I would highly recommend this place. The location could not be any better (right opposite the cathedral in Castello) and Michele was very helpful. The room itself was very simple but cosy and it had all amenities. I would definitely recommend having breakfast...

Truly enjoyed our stay at this bed and breakfast! Rooms are very spacious and clean. Location is perfect. Cagliari is a fun city - although it has a rough edge... if you enjoy a little adventure with your travel - this is the city!

Initially extremely difficult to find, we ended up telephoning for directions after several vain attempts driving around town with a map in hand. Happily, help was forthcoming in the form of Michele, who takes care of guests and was the highpoint of our stay in this Residenza. He could not have been more friendly or helpful; always ready to offer...

We have satyed 2 nights at Residenza Kastrum early April 2013 and have really enjoyed it. The view on Cagliari is great and the warm welcome from Michele is fantastic. The rooms are quiet being remote from the traffic. Most of Cagliari is accesible on foot from Residenza Kastrum ( the Cathedral and the Archelogical Museum are next door).

Residenza Kastrum is on the 5th floor of an old building. The entrance (a mere door) onto Via Nicolo Canelles leads into a dark tomb like entrance. Once you know where you are going, you know to reach out with your hand (before the door closes) to put on the lights which will then light the way to the lift!...

We spent a couple of happy days here. It was hot outside, but the non-air-conditioned room stayed cool inside the old building. You're right in the old town a few paces from the Cathedral. Michele was very helpful and reliable booking taxis etc.. Unlike the corporate Regina Margherita Hotel down the road where the internet didn't work, the Kastrum wi-fi...

This place is in the heart of the old city which makes it great for exploring. If you have car, it's best to get rid of it before coming here or pick it up only when leaving. Our room, the suite, had spectacular views and was generally very pleasant. Michele's advice about where to eat was sound, and although he...

There are 4 rooms in this property that is located on the top floor of a historic building in the old city. We stayed here for one night in a very spacious room with a view over the city and the sea. The room was very clean and quiet. There is a kitchenette for the guests for self service breakfast....

“You can park the car in front of the Cahedral, just across the street for a short while, then you need to move the car in front of the Police Station or Apocoa parking. I recommend to park in front of the Police Station as it has a great view and you can have a good walk. Apocoa parking was a little bit difficult for us to get out of once we had parked.”
