Casa Solotti is a gorgeous B&B set in the mountains above Nuoro. It is run by Mario and Frederique who are lovely and incredibly helpful hosts, providing you with all the info and tips on the best places to visit. The rooms are large, very clean and comfortable with great views. Breakfast is delicious, and whilst we were there they...

Fabulous accommodation B & B in Nuoro, in the location of Monte Ortobene. Frederique and her husband are great hosts. Warm welcome, comprehensive information about the area, great places to visit. The house and the rooms are always perfectly cleaned. Each room has its own unique character. The spacious bathroom, amazing clarity. We had a room on the first floor...

We stayed at Casa Soletti for two nights with our two children age 3 and 6. Our room was well equipped with a mini kitchen and was spotless. The views over the mountains from the terrace are spectacular and we loved our traditional Sardinian breakfast. Mario and his French wife Frederica really do go out of their way to help...

Casa Solotti is a picturesque B&B located in the very heart of Monte Ortobene. The place and the house itself are spectacular, but the key value of this accommodation are the owners: attentive, nice and willing to provide lots of information on the island and the nearby spots of interest. They enriched our trip around Sardinia a lot. Anja &...

This is the perfect bad and breakfast. The owners were supportive and delightful in their efforts to allow us to engough our vacation. The location of this bed and breakfast was spectacular. Views of the surrounding mountains were fantastic. The accomodation was laid out well and all facilities were to hand. Good news no TV. A real rural retreat to...

Casa Solotti hits five stars on all counts. The mountain location offers amazing views, especially from the two rooms on the top floor. These rooms are large with updated bathrooms. The food is amazing with homemade yogurt, etc for breakfast and multi-course dinners. The best is the hosts, Mario and Federique, who make you feel like home. Mario gives recommendations...

Mario and Frederique were exceptionally good hosts making us feel welcome even though we arrived a little late and feeding us a delicious traditional Sardinian meal with the other guests sat round a communal dining table. They gave us many recommendations on where to visit and what to do including a lovely walk on Monte Ortobene. Their property is beautifully...

We highly recommend people to stay at casa so lotto. We only had one night there but would love to have stayed longer. Mario and frederic are charming, informative, warm and wonderful hosts. But, the best part! We had a magnificent Sardinian dinner- home cooked, full of flavour, and extremely well prepared. We had 4 courses that surpassed any of...

I love this place. It is a perfect experience for anyone to explore central Sardinia. The rooms are spacious, lovely decorated, well furnished and perfectly clean. The breakfast is delicious (homemade joghurt, sardinian short pastry and different breads and jams). But the best are the owners: very caring, attentive and extraodinarily friendly. The are always happy to plan trips, hikes...

Mario Solotti provides a truly full service B & B. Situated on the top of Mt.Ortobene overlooking the city of Nuoro in central Sardinia the rooms are nicely old fashioned with beautiful bathrooms. The breakfasts were simple but good, the view from most rooms was simply to die for. Best of all Mario gives the best advice for where to...
