Myself and my wife stayed at xxMiglia for 2 nights on a recent tour of Sicily. First of all let me say that Cristian and Co are perfect hosts. Cristian is so nice, so welcoming and very informative about Catania. The rooms are fantastic and well worth the money. Literally the only thing that lets the place down is the...

The good: Most important the hotel was very clean and safe. The bed and pillow were comfortable, the shower had lots of water and was hot. The internet is good. There are a lot of TV channels with a couple in English once you figure out how to change the language. The breakfast was excellent with nice sweets, eggs, etc....

Good: The property is about a 10 minute walk from the main bus and train stations. The area is slightly run down and there's a red light district close by, but the attic apartment with en-Suite we had was large, modern and very clean, plus the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast consists of usual items together with some local...

We arrived in Catania on 26th of December, took the Alibus from the airport ( don’t get off the bus at Central Station as we have done(walking 10min), go to Piazza della Republica, from there is just 1 min walking). The hosts Angelo and Cristian are the best you could ask for. Good english, lot of useful information, friendly, always...

We spent a long weekend, 3 nights in Catania. We took a taxi and having arrived there we were a little bit of surprised of the arae as it did not look quite the best but later we realized it's just how the whole town is, a bit dodgy here and there. We went inside, up the stairs, wondering what...

B&B XX Miglia is in a great location, only a 700 metre walk from Catania Bus Terminal and 600 metres from Catania Centrale Train Station. The beautiful Piazza del Duomo, heart of the city is around 800 metres, (which is near the tourist office as well), also within easy walking distance of restaurants. Cristian and Angelo are incredibly friendly and...

Shady area surrounding the building. The B&B itself though, is very nice with large rooms and high, panelled ceilings. Descent breakfast and friendly staff. Walls are thin, so light sleepers and snoozers will want to book a room a few steps away from the breakfast room. City center and nice restaurants are just a few minutes walk away.
