Sadly, due to a lightning strike on Italian railways, we only had one night in this exquisite B&B. A shame as Catania looks as if it would reward a longer stay in its sophisticated surroundings. It's more civilised than Palermo in my view. Our room was gorgeous, with 19thC painted ceiling and lovely modern decor and bathroom. The jacuzzi bath...

Great Central location. Big room and impressive detail on the ceiling. Receptionists were very helpful and breakfast was great. Loved the quirkiness of this boutique B&B. They did not charge us for the water we drank from the minibar either!

Pros: Good location, central but slightly off the beaten track, close to the airport bus stop. Very good aircon - has a quiet setting so you can leave it on at night. Not much noise from the street at night either. Very big room, with impressive decorations (ceiling!). Wifi OK. Quite a few sockets available (not always the case!) The...

The room was big with a good bathroom too. The breakfast was very good, specially the coffee and juices. The only downside is the noise. The hotel is small so very early the fuss starts. Overall it was a very pleasent stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff (Ciara) were super welcoming and helpful giving us tips on how to best enjoy Catania and nearby cities. Our room was great, spacious, clean and really beautifully decorated (loved the paintings on the ceiling). We paid extra 5eur for breakfast which was well worth it, nice pastries and fresh coffee and...

We stayed in a gorgeous suite at the Antiche Volte boutique B&B in the centre of Catania, within a historical palace, in Via Umberto. The B&B offers private parking facilities, modern lift and safe in each room. The high ceilings were beautifully frescoed, the bedroom was spacious and furnished with exquisite taste; the master bed was large and comfortable. The...

Large, clean rooms with frescoed ceilings, in beautifully renovated palazzo. Friendly and professional people at reception. Breakfast was good and "Italian style", with freshly squeezed orange juice (don't ask for it if you are in a hurry though...), coffee, and delicious cakes and pastries. The only drawback for me is the fact that, from my room (the first one as...

A bit out of town but in a nice area this is a superb venue and great value for money. Our room had a ceiling decorated with an original 18th century painting and sculpted birds. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave us advice about where to eat. We were sorry to be staying only one night and wouldn't...

We stayed in one of the apartments for 10 days and absolutely loved it. The place was nicely decorated, clean, spacious, and it had a well stocked supply of kitchen utensils! The TV was HD which was perfect for us as we were able to hook up a laptop and watch our shows whenever we decided to stay in! Also,...
