We spent three days, me and my son. We were in an annex, which was a small apartment with all what you need for a comfortable stay. No problem parking on the street. It is three blocks from downtown and close to a fascinating fish market. The people at the Duca extremely friendly and helpful. They help us to organize... More

To finish our trip around Sicily we decided to book one night in this b&b after returning the car so we could spend a day looking around Catania before flying out. This place is certainly near the centre of town and the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Our room was extremely well fitted and decorated, being very comfortable... More

My husband and I booked this hotel for our first night in Sicily based on the great reviews and photos here. The B&B's website makes it appear to be much more than it really is. The location is excellent, within walking distance to the fish market and Piazza Duomo. It was comfortable and very clean, but it was not a... More

Well all buildings of catania are old and dirty from outside, as duca di uzeda's building, but when you enter to Duca Di Uzeda inside, it is very simple, but clean and comfortable, very near to the fishmarket and piazza duomo, and the price is also very reasonable, so you ca easily choose duca di uzeda for your stay at catania

The area is interesting to put it mildly being right next to the fish market with all that that implies. But inside the hotel is great. Owners are really helpful and friendly. Rooms are large and very clean with a/c and wifi. The area has great restaurants --Antica marina and I Clerici-- and places to buy fresh produce. Safe to... More
