Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting. I don't often travel around the world but over the last couple of months i have been travelling with my mother and father. This hotel was dirty, and so unhygienic. Let's begin in the bathroom.... Mould in the shower, shower screen incredibly thick with soap scum that i can't even see through the door (Who would want...

The Stesicorea Palace is a fantastic hotel located centrally in Catania. The rooms were clean and very well maintained, while offering a traditionally Italian experience with the layout and architecture. The service was fantastic, Wifi speed was excellent, and the breakfasts were great.

We got very good deal in this hotel, including breakfast. It looks quite used and worn, but everything worked fine and we had no complaits. Even parking possibilities near the hotel were OK, considering it is town centre. The staff is very polite, helpful and friendly. You may be disturbed from sleep by the noises from outside, but less than...

The hotel is in the city center of Catania. The location of the hotel is in a busy square, surrounded by many shops. The room was spacious, clean and nice. Staff was helpful. It was good value for our money.

**INTRODUCTION** It was a spontaneous decision to go on holiday and return to Catania after 6 years, so I found this hotel via an offer by Expedia. Initially, prior to arrive in Sicily, I had some concerns regarding the quality of service for reading some comments here but when I saw it with my own eyes I have to say...

Don`t let the small entrance misguide you. This Hotel ist very clean, the staff is more than friendly and eager to help (they even printed out our Flight tickets). The Breakfast is in a small room, but its OK. The rooms could need a touchup, but are very clean, the A/C works fine and WiFi is quite fast. Stayed there...

It's in between the train station and the plaza where the elephant statue and cathedral are. Easy to get to anywhere in the city from here. Windows in the rooms are really clean, almost transparent. The TV in my room didn't work. Water in the mini bar and breakfast are not included in the fee.

I arrived into Catania by train from Salerno on 5th August 2014, and checked into the Hotel Stesicorea. The location is great - right in the centre of town, and less than 2 kms from the train station. It is easily reached by buses from the station, which stop just across the road from the hotel, at Piazza Stesicoro. From...

“If you are sensitive to traffic noise and do not want to wear ear plugs, ask for a room that does not face Piazza Stesicoro, but you will have to dispense with a nice view out of the window. ;)”

“Do not always think international chains offer better hotels, and do not compare European hotels to those of new countries with lots of space to build spanking new hotels with no character! Do not be too concerned about rooms with views. Are you there to look out the window, or to explore the city?”
