I stayed at this hotel for one night. It was very handy to the main train station across the road. It was a good ten minute walk into the main city centre, not a problem if you don't mind a walk. I could not fault the service, helpful staff, very clean room and generous buffet breakfast. I would recommend this...

If you're looking for grandeur, luxury and costly living this not the place for you. If, on the other hand, you're looking for a hotel with a Catanian personality, friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms, a great and quiet courtyard to relax in, and that has a terrific little restaurant right around the corner, then this is the...

The hotel seemed much better from the pics and the reviews. Leaving aside the decor in bad taste and the unfortunate location (busy road next to the railway station) it is definitively not worth the money. It is a basic 3 star hotel and should cost al least 25% less. You can park free on the road, otherwise there is...

We went here for a few days after our wedding. Not for a honeymoon, but a quick escape with the purpose to relax and walk around Sicily. First of all we didn't like Catania, it seemed dirty, noisy, crowded with cars, not too many things to see there. We chose this hotel because it looked nice on the web, including...

Beautiful, clean, stylish hotel. Very friendly staff always willing to help you. Also location is great. Close to city centre (5mins walk) and 2min walk to bus/train station. Well sign posted when you travel by car. Can only recommend!

I also highly recommend Hotel Villa Romeo where I stayed in May. Surprisingly, because I had heard bad reports about staying close to the Train and Bus Stazione, this was a lovely hotel, well appointed and clean, where I felt perfectly safe. Go beyond an unremarkable entrance into a lovely lobby that sets the tone for the accommodations and amenities....

Stayed one night and enjoyed it so much, I detoured back after traveling Sicily to stay there on my way back. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. For the price, this is one of best values in hotels, ANYWHERE. Close to the bus station, train station, and the main points of interest were easily walkable.

Just wish we could stay there longer. The room is very spacious and spotless, I am a clean fret because of my health issue. The owner Agnese is extremely helpful. The staff is very friendly. The location is excellent. The breakfast is good. This will be the place we would like to stay.

We stayed in 5 hotels in Sicily on our holiday. This was the first as we wanted somewhere to collapse after coming in from the airport by bus, then visit the city and area, then move on by bus. The other hotels we stayed in were 4* hotels. The Villa Romeo distinguishes itself for the best welcome and help we...
