I booked this hotel for a 1 night stay in Catania before flying home. It exceeded my expectations in every way, having booked it simply because it was cheap. Our room was large and light, with a huge bed, well decorated and immaculately clean. The bathroom was also large and well appointed with plenty of towels and complimentary toiletries. Breakfast...

We loved this hotel.. It is a four star disguised as a three star hotel. It had everything we wanted..fridge, safe, free breakfast and close to the duomo and many fine restaurants nearby. It is hard to find and we decided on getting a cab from the airport, since the bus does not run regularly. It is very clean and...

We had some difficulty finding this hotel. Aim for Piazza Manganelli, not the postal address. The hotel is in a building on one side of the Piazza, though the entrance is on a dingy side street and not very inviting. After getting the lift (ancient but more efficient than other more modern lifts we experienced in Sicily) to the 4th...

We had to stay in Catania for two days before meeting up with family and we found this hotel suited our needs very well. It was just off the main street so convenient to everything. This was a palace then a school and now a b&b. Don't be put off by the surrounding street and buildings, Catania is old and...

We stayed at the Manganelli Palace for a total of four nights. I was at a conference for the first three nights and got a discount rate for a normal room, which was clean and fairly spacious. Then we upgraded to a truly palacial room with frescoed ceiling; very cool! Mandelina, the manager was very helpful in making the change...

The suite really does look like it does in the photos - no, actually it looks better! This is an interesting hotel - close to the centre of Catania with efficient and friendly staff and a very, very nice room. There is a very nice terrace for breakfast or coffee and many things are great about this place. But .......

Manganelli Palace Hotel is really in need of renovation, specially bathrooms. The Palace itself is beautiful. Location is great. The Suite is worth the price. Breakfast is poor. The hotel is a few not mentioned at hotels city cartels. I would not recomend this hotel.

This was a strange but nice hotel right in the centre of Catania, if you are driving it does have its own private car park but can be a bit of a pain if you arrive in the evening. The Hotel is on the fourth floor reached by a very small two person lift or one person with a suitcase,...

I was here in February and it is a very good hotel in Catania next to the main street and near the Saint Agatha Cathedral and other tourist attractions. Very helpful staff . Good value for money. I recommend this hotel.
