Best B&B experience ever ! We were in Sicily for the school holiday with 2 young kids , after landing late at night , surprisingly Mr.Giuseppe from B&B arranged a taxi to pick us up in a very cheap price right at the gate with English speaking driver who is very polite and helpful called Otto. That was a real game changing after a long haul day of travelling and the driver helped carried all luggage to the B&B as well. Checking in was very nice and smooth , Mr.Giuseppe will be sitting there in the office from 8am till 11 pm every day as far as I’ve noticed , waiting to assist the guests. More less like a small hotel ,really. They even have waiter and waitress working during breakfast time serving us with a fresh jug of orange juice , tea or coffee. Breakfast was lovely ! Let me tell you about fresh squeeze orange juice , in Italy is very hard to find in the supermarket or restaurant if not will be very expensive , I don’t know why but the have it on the table for you a whole jug every morning without asking. After we left , my son keep on talking about Mr.Giuseppe every day as he’s a very kind man . I forgot a bunch of make up in the bathroom and sent him an email ,he responded in no time and I got my stuff back , The room is massive and good value for money as it’s allocated right off the main shopping street which you can find hundred of shops and restaurants ! 20 mins walk to Palermo Central station ( train and coach to airport and beyond!) You have found a rare gem here , my friend! All the best !

The "Palazzo" is a beautifully renovated building right in the historic center of Palermo, just minutes walk from Teatro Massimo, with free parking. It's peaceful setting in Palermo is set in a private courtyard right in the town center. Giuseppe is kind and gracious and will make you feel welcome and at home. Great breakfast and spacious rooms. If you have a car, consider no place else. Giuseppe will meet you just outside the hotel and direct you to the hotel as it is in a restricted driving area. A special thank you to Giuseppe for his kindness in assisting me with my lost luggage from Alitalia.

Tastefully renovated small b&b in interior courtyard in central location. Excellent breakfast, very personable management, spacious, well appointed rooms, extremely quiet.
The only drawback is that the parking lot gate is locked before 7, when the morning maid arrives. If you have to leave earlier, open the gate with the remote key, block the electric eye with luggage so the gate remains open, return key to room, then exit again.

thanks for your kind review. there may have been some misunderstanding why the gate can be opened from the courtyard with any key. it is not necessary to open it with the remote control and then climb on top. I'm sorry we didn't understand each other. Giuseppe

B&B location is very convenient, and less than 5 mins away from the airport limousine bus stop by foot. The owner of the B&B met us personally and upgraded 1 of the rooms to a suite without extra charges. The B&B has lift access, and gates are closed after 8.30pm. Owner will provide instructions on how to operate the lift and gates.
The rooms are spacious, though some might feel that the room/furniture looks dated. Beds and pillows are on the softer side. There are extra pillows provided though. Mineral water provided in the minibar daily. Breakfast was provided with fresh pastries and fruits daily.
Do check out the perfume store "La Profumoteca" right beside the B&B.

This B&B is located in the historical district of a city. The facility inside was older than other places we staying during this trip ... that were also located in similar areas in their cities. Upon our arrival, the owner was having a water pipe issue (we had now water for about 2 hours) and he was obviously stressed about it. While he apologized for it many times, we found him friendly, but not very engaging when we spoke to him. Out of 6 other places we staying during the trip, the breakfast had the least amount of selection. We were driving, so parking was great (in the front courtyard of the B&B and no charge). We were able to walk to all places we wanted to see. So, in general, it was a good experience, but a few small things made it a 4 not a 5 in our minds.

Right in the city centre but as it is set in a courtyard off the street it is quiet and peaceful. Good air conditioning and generously sized room. The price includes breakfast of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cold meat, cheese, cakes of various styles, croissants etc. Lovely charming staff serve breakfast and keep the rooms spotless. Would highly recommend for a pleasant stay in Palermo

Our first stop on my wife and my trip to Sicily was Palermo. We arrived on a rainy day and were greeted by Giuseppe. He showed us our room, that we had reserved, that was located in the building across from the main B&B. Giuseppe used a motorized hoist to get our luggage up to our room and showed us the myriad of ways to open and lock the doors and use the elevator. I forgot at one point and had to call on Giuseppe for a refresher course. Giuseppe came immediately and I think I passed the refresher course. The room was big and comfortable. There was a deck that we could not take advantage of because of the rain but was big and had nice plants. The breakfasts were great and all of the people who worked for Giuseppe went out of their way to be helpful to us. All of the restaurants that Giuseppe recommended to us were top notch.Giuseppe even arranged for a driver to get us to our car rental. Our stay was definitely a big part of our experience in Palermo and would highly recommend it to anyone going to Palermo.

Giuseppe was a kind and helpful host. Our high-ceiling room was spacious with a small balcony. Nice to have an elevator for the hotel. The location hidden off a pedestrian street was perfect, quiet, and easy walking distance to everything. Breakfast was great, lots of options. Giuseppe was easy to communicate with, helped with reservations, called taxis, and welcomed us to his palazzo. We’d definitely return and recommend to others.

Our family of four had a fantastic visit to Palermo, made even more pleasant by our stay at Palazzo Pantaleo. This B&B is perfectly situated to explore the city center while being removed enough for a comfortable and peaceful night sleep. Giuseppe is a kind, helpful and gracious host. When our flight was canceled to Naples, he helped us navigate other transportation options. Breakfast was perfect and also very accommodating for our son who has celiac. If you are wondering where to stay in Palermo, look no further than Palazzo Pantaleo.

We stayed at Palazzo Pantaleo for 4 nights over New Year 2020 and were delighted with our stay. The guest house is amazingly well located - close to everything yet very quiet - and it has a really charming, slightly eccentric, old world atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and attractively decorated, the bathrooms are very good and the breakfast is excellent. Guiseppe, the owner, is a most delightful host.
