The B&B lies along one of the most outstanding streets of the old town in the elegant shopping area of Palermo. It is completely renovated with a modern elegant style, is part of an ancient aristocratic building in front of the famous Politeama theatre, here you can have elegant rooms with air conditioning and TV. Furnished with a contemporary style, the rooms have a private bathroom, minibar, safe with digital electronic lock and Wi-Fi. In the morning you can have an Italian and continental breakfast. The B&B lies in the city centre, hence the choice of the name, it is only 300 metres away from the port of Palermo and a few steps away from the cathedral of the city, from Teatro Massimo Vittorio Emanuele, from the regional archaeological museum, from the elegant via Libertà and via Ruggero Settimo, the ideal shopping streets. A few steps away from the B&B there is the bus stop of the famous Hop On a comfortable way to visit the city of Palermo.

I am so glad that I discovered this B&B back in late 2018. I had first visited Palermo in September 2018 and although I loved the room I was in, it was too small. It was located on Via Maqueda. I had planned to visit Palermo again in September 2020 but I had to cancel my trip to Italy due to the pandemic. I decided to travel to Italy again this September and I know today that I made the right decision to stay at this B&B. My mom and I had the best time in Palermo again! Of course it helps when you have a nice place to stay and this B&B exceeded my expectations. I had the largest room with the little balcony. I loved that there was a separate living room from the bedroom so you can dim the lights in one area without disturbing another in the other room. The breakfast was ok. I was given tickets/vouchers for a typical Italian breakfast at a local cafe and it was a good opportunity for me to speak Italian. Also, the staff (Alessia and Raffaele) were great! They kept in touch with me often to verify when I would arrive in Palermo from my long-distance train ride from Napoli. This B&B does not have 24 hour service. This did not concern me.

Also, I loved the location of this B&B. It was easy to get to Via Roma and for me to visit the various eateries and shops that were nearby that I wanted to visit. I have wonderful memories of my second stay in Palermo and I certainly would recommend this B&B to all my friends and family. If I am so fortunate to be in Palermo again, I will choose this place.

Do yourself a favor and stay at this property when you're in Palermo! The service is first rate from booking and even beyond checkout! Oueded went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us during our stay! We were celebrating our 10th Anniversary while we were at their property and she decorated our room to welcome us! She arranged the best restaurant for us to celebrate with great food &an incredible view - (Seven Restaurant!) She met us on the street when we couldn't find the drugstore and arranged for a Covid-19 test (which was required for our return to the US) to take place right in the B&B! Aside from all of the thoughtful, caring and helpful assistance she gave us, she is a lovely person! The guy who checked us in (Davide?) was also very helpful & thorough. He greeted us in our cab on the street, walked us to the B&B, gave us a ton of information, an intro to the room, how it works & suggestions for our stay.

The B&B itself was also wonderful. It's in a great location with a very safe, easy entrance. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a nice bathroom, a small refrigerator & tea kettle. We had a balcony which overlooked a quiet street. Some coffee & snacks available in the central dining area but they give you a certificate for a local restaurant for breakfast. We did not do this because by the time we got moving, we wanted more than a light breakfast. The Wi-Fi was the best we had in Italy! The AC was cold. I really can't brag enough about this wonderful experience!

Located in the heart of the city, In Centro Palermo b&b, it is extremely well kept and modern. The room very clean and comfortable. The service provided goes beyond the bounds of the client centric approach as Davide the guy at the reception which was amazingly polite, friendly and professional.

A perfect size room for one traveler for one night, if you don't mind smaller spaces than usual. The window view from my room was to some small inner yard which was not the prettiest but I didn't come to the hotel to see the view from the hotel window. At least then there could not be no street noise to be heard. Although at outside I didn't hear any loud street noise at the start of the night while being outside. I'm not sure if the A/C can be turned to a bit more quiet for the night. I just turned it off for the night. A breakfast coupon was given to the near cafeteria at the check-in. The breakfast was light (coffee/juice+pastry) but decent to give a small boost to the morning. Biggest problem might have been finding the hotel as the hotel lobby is inside a building. First you just have to find two wooden doors at the street and then press the buzzer to get a contact with the person at the lobby. WhatsApp application is good to have on the phone before arrival (not mandatory, but recommended).

Very good B&B. Excellent location. Near to very good restaurants, tourist sites, public transit. Lovely big room done in modern Italian. Really good shower. Located in a mixed residential/business neighborhood inside a building on an upstairs floor (with a lift). Very friendly and helpful staff. For breakfast, they give a coupon to a coffee shop a short walk away with interesting Italian breakfast choices -- not our usual American breakfasts, but quite good. Very comfortable bed.

Perfect Location. Felt very secure. Allessia was so warm and helpful. Really went out of her way for me. Even Alma in housekeeping was especially kind. The room was immaculate. I felt so good there that I booked many more days to extend my stay here. Espresso available in dining area with other small treats. Exactly what I needed.

What a lovely and pleasant stay we had! We normally stay in hotels but found most hotels in Sicily appeared to be old, dated and overpriced. So we booked B&B In Centro Palermo.

From the moment we booked, the lovely Federica contacted us with regards to location, parking and checking in details a few months ahead, so if we were not sure of anything, we had opportunities to check.

Our plane arrived in the evening, and Federica kept us informed as soon as we stepped off the plane and ensure our arrival to the B&B and check in all ran smoothly.

The room was modern, contemporary, large in size, and cleaned every day. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included each day and we were served by a sweet lady who remembered our tea and coffee orders every day we were there. Normally I don't have high expectations when it comes to options of breakfast in Italy, as most items are too sweet such as biscuits, sweet pastries, but it did offer fruit, yoghurt and cereal, toast and eggs which was more than I expected.

The location was between old town and designer shops area, so most sights, restaurants, shops and bars in Palermo were all within walking distance.

I would highly recommend this place and all the helpful friendly staff as comfortable base in Palermo,

We stayed two nights at B&B In Centro based on the previous reviews, location and price. We were not disappointed. They were able to arrange airport transfers for us ahead of time, which was convenient after 19 hours of traveling. The room, Politeama, was spacious and clean. The bathroom, surprisingly so as well. The bed was very comfortable, probably too comfortable haha. The shower was great. We did hear some noise when people were in the breakfast/lobby area, but it wasn't terrible. Street noise was quiet. It was very convenient to walk where we wanted from the B&B. The only downside is you only get one key, so if one person wants to leave you can't really leave them because the key turns everything in the room on/off and you need it for a suite entrance and then your door. So I felt kind of stuck with just the one key, but this was something we ran into a lot of places so its not a deal breaker. We both said we would stay here again definitely!

In Centro is located on the edge of gritty, old Palermo and the new city. Very convenient from the airport bus stop so no need to take a taxi from the airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful but are not there 24 hrs a day. The B&B was remodeled in 2017 so everything worked well, good shower pressure, very spacious room, comfortable bed. We were in Liberte room which is directly on the main street so despite the well insulated windows we could hear the louder street sounds. Nearby are at least a dozen restaurants to choose from. In October 2019 they just started construction of the underground metro on the street in front of In Centro. We were not effected by construction sounds but this may be a problem in the future. Also, street access is a little limiting from construction barricades. Breakfast was the "standard" Italian breakfast with sweet breads, yogurt, fruit and packaged cheese and meat. Lattes were always good. Definitely would recommend this place.

The location is perfect. You go on foot to most interesting places to visit. They have big and modern rooms, very nicely decorated and offer a great breakfast. Most of all, what made our experience unique was the way Antonio, Silvana and Luciano helped us. We had a big problem because our luggage did not come, it was on weekend, nobody in the airport helped us, but the owners of the B & B personally assumed the control of the situation, and had no limits on effort until everything was solved. Thanks forever to their kindness.
