We stayed at Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa for 3 nights during our vacation to Sicily in June (June 5-8, room #419-deluxe room). The location was amazing-close to all the sights to see in Palermo. Our room was wonderful-it was HUGE (larger than any other on...More

as far as I recall this hotel is inside ZTL so private cars without special permits can not enter the area. If you are renting a car then contact the hotel and they will advise re parking options and permits to enter the area. We parked the rental car outside of ZTL on the street (for free) and then took a taxi to the hotel, we had car for just 2 days in Palermo to do some day trips. The taxi fare was not much more than parking inside ZTL and paying for the permit (daily?) plus for parking itself.
