This hotel has some good points, but it's front desk staff is the worst I have encountered. That includes Holiday Inns and Motel 6. Totally surprised, because until this hotel, the staffs at quality Italian hotels have been excellent--professional, knoweledgeable, and service oriented. I dealt...More
The hotel is centrally located and therefore great for getting out and about in Palermo. The rooms are clean but service is poor, particularly the reception staff. We had to change rooms due to a leak in the bathroom. We had to tell reception twice...More

as far as I recall this hotel is inside ZTL so private cars without special permits can not enter the area. If you are renting a car then contact the hotel and they will advise re parking options and permits to enter the area. We parked the rental car outside of ZTL on the street (for free) and then took a taxi to the hotel, we had car for just 2 days in Palermo to do some day trips. The taxi fare was not much more than parking inside ZTL and paying for the permit (daily?) plus for parking itself.
