The old palazzo modernized inside was a joy and delight. One caution: very difficult to find by car; we went round and round - in giro - the reception staff talked us to the hotel by phone. Once there plenty of parking in the courtyard. One deficiency: the bathroom lighting was more than dim and could not be adjusted. Yet...

This was our 1st stop in Sicily and stayed for three nights. It is located in the old section of Palermo and very convenient to the historic sites and Chiesa Gesu is right next door. African immigrant people live near the hotel and show that different cultures can live in harmony. The Ballaro Market is nearby. The hotel is charming,...

We stayed three nights here at the end of our 21 day holiday in Sicily and loved the hotel. It is in the old section of Palermo and convenient to many of the historic sites and churches, as well as to the best shopping. On TA there are many comments about the North African immigrant people living and making music...

What a wonderful hotel. The rooms are designed in a simple, elegant style. The staff are extremely attentive and helpful. Unfortunately, I was bothered on one night by reggae music coming from a nearby bar. Despite the fact that there are 'street people' in the piazza, they appeared harmless and would respond when greeted. Great location. Great prices. Would return...

We recently stayed for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. We had a junior suite which was decorated beautifully and extremely well appointed. I'm not usually a fan of hotel restaurants but I would strongly advise you use this one. Francesco is the head chef and you could not meet a more enthusiastic passionate dedicated chef...

While this hotel is incredibly difficult to drive to and locate, it is still a very good hotel. The location is perfect with quick access to some of Palermo's most astonishing places to visit and it is close to some outstanding restaurants.

We spent four nights in this hotel, a recently and beautifully restored palazzo, which is located on the edge of the Ballero market in the heart of the centro storico of Palermo. The location is perfect: you can walk everywhere. Right next door is the astonishing Jesuit church, a masterpiece of baroque decoration. The area is also something of an...

Room was large, excellent and quiet. Outdoor dining was most enjoyable. Staff was excellent and helpful in every way. I was warned ahead of time about the surrounding neighborhood so wasn't surprised. It appeared somewhat scetchy but i think it was safe enough. It was just in what i would term the old town part of the city. I recommend...

We chose this for its convenient proximity to Arab-Norman historic buildings, most of which are within 10 to 15 minutes walk. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, and the breakfast was fine - mostly multi-cultural buffet stlye. Only drawback was that getting in and out by car was a can-opener challenge. The hotel is a quiet oasis in a street-market...
