The Massimo Plaza was an excellent value for the quality of the lodging but even more for community he staff service vAll staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The ones we interacted with most were CHRISTIAN, Francesca, and Juliet. But all were quite helpful. Room was decent size for Europe. Only slight negative was steep stairway into hotel.

I booked the hotel because of price, location and parking availability. We arrived by car, there is a restricted area, but you can park in front of the hotel to be shown the parking place later. It's three minutes' walk from the hotel. The location is very good, opposite the Teatro Massimo. Our room was comfortable and spacious with a...

We had serious problems finding the hotel. It is a small single door with the overhead sign in deep shadow. Off a pedestrian walkway, restricted driving, the police will stop you. Be prepared to show them your hotel confirmation. A huge staircase. No elevator. I have a bad knee and it took forever to make it up the two flights....

We stayed four comfortable nights with walking distance to every important cultural sites in the city of Old Palermo. All staff members are friendly and helpful and breakfast is excellent. We love opera, so Teatro Massimo just in front of the hotel was really superb. Highly recommendable!

We stayed as a couple 5 nights from 30 March to 4 April. The hotel is in an excellent location for discovering Palermo, both the sights and eating / drinking. We had booked for Traviata at Teatro Massimo so location of hotel couldnt have been better. All the staff were charming and helpful. If we had to single out an...

Loved the people watching and the view of the Massimo Teatro from our balcony window. We found it convenient to exit the hotel onto the pedestrian street out front and walk to many of Palermo's best sites. Great location. And the staff at the front desk were all exceedingly pleasant and helpful. Also, breakfast in our room was a nice...

This hotel is in a fantastic location in the old part of Palermo and within easy walking distance of all the sights. We caught the shuttle bus from the station and the hotel is just a short walk away. It does have a long flight of stairs up to the reception and so people with mobility problems may find this...

The hotel is right in front of the famous Massimo Teatro on a pedestrian street. We were concerned about the noise at first, but the location was great. We had a balcony on which we could people watch, hear the bands playing in the square and even have our breakfast. When closed, the windows kept out all of the street...

The most important thing to say about this hotel, suspiciously missing from five-star reviews, is that it's up a long flight of stairs with no elevator. We did not know this beforehand and would have avoided it strenuously had we been conscientiously advised. Sadly, we had paid in advance so were stuck. Palermo visitors with mobility problems be warned. The...

Dear Guest, We are very sorry to read this review. Massimo Plaza Hotel, as you know, is situated in the city center and it is located in an historical palace, for this reason there isn’t a lift, but the hotel is located on the first floor, there are exactly 21 stairs. This is written everywhere! We are sorry that during...

I've just had a beautiful stay at this hotel and am already planning my return visit. It's located in the central part of Palermo, so convenient to go any...
