This hotel, confusingly actually called Albergo Mediterraneo, is not quiet as the management states in their description. Street noise travels freely through the windows until wee hours in the morning, particularly at weekends when the main street nearby converts into pedestrian, parade-party zone!

I can't believe you are just answering my question. It has been 2 months since I asked this question and we have completed our holiday 1 month ago. The bus is not very useful if you have luggage and have an early morning flight. A taxi is much more reliable and worth the added cost and comfort.
