I stayed in this B&B for two nights in mid-May and can highly recommend it: the room with a small kitchen attached was clean and spacious; the central location made it easy to walk to all the main attractions and the breakfast buffet offered a very good range of healthy food. I also enjoyed the fact the B&B is located...

In the heart of Palermo this delightful and beautifully restored palais offers a charming hideaway - and a delicious breakfast in the middle of a small art gallery (the rooms subsidize the gallery, which is a focal point for local and regional artists).

This is an Art Gallery with a few rooms to rent above. We were fortunate to arrive the same evening as an art opening and welcomed to also enjoy a dinner for a small fee afterwards. It was excellent! As is the wine! The owners are very friendly and helpful, the location in the heart of historical Palermo, and we...

This is a wonderful choice for your stay in Palermo. Stefania is a wonderful hostess who will give you all sorts of tips to profit from your stay. Once you have your keys you are absolutely free to come and go. The room is comfortable, the bathroom a bit small. You have shops nearby if you want to buy your...

I agree with everybody's comments about the grubby street, but do yourself a favor and look past that. Quite evidently a labor of love. The building is amazing, the restoration equally so. Don't miss the medieval window. Breakfast includes wonderful home baked cakes. On a practical note, location is very good. Gallery very cool. Do not trust your GPS to...

Very central, located up a grubby alley, but very clean, modern and attractive once one opens the main door. I had double windows which shut out the noise of the traffic, so I slept well. Satellite TV channels and wifi provided. Friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast is satisfying and is provided in the beautiful art gallery downstairs. Excellent price -...

The surroundings of this Bed and Breakfast gem are not salubrious to say the least, entrance is up a quite frankly derelict laneway, but when you do reach the Reception area you are in for a very pleasant surprise. We booked a suite which was spacious, clean and while very minimalisic in terms of furniture it had a really cosy...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for six nights in June 2015 and had a wonderful stay. My husband uses a wheelchair and the apartment was very accessible for him, with street access with no steps, lift, flat entry to the room and generous spaces for moving around. The bathroom had been well fitted out for wheelchair users,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Within a walled perimeter, which the Phoenicians built in the 4th century BC to mark out the nucleus of their city, in Via del Celso 14, not far from Quattro Canti and behind the Santa Ninfa dei Crociferi Church in an oasis of peace and quiet, you will find Nuvole Residenza. This boutique B+B can be found on the first and second floors of the Principe di San Vincenzo Palace. Next door are the ruins of the mighty walls of the Gran Cancelliere monastery, which was destroyed in the bombing raids of World War II. Now sumac and acacia spring up and, once upon a time, a large mulberry tree shaded the road. ... more   less
