Everything about this historical property was exceptional. A former wardrobe building for the theatre across the street, this hotel will transport you back in time to an era of elegance and nobility. Old world service and charm, with every modern convenience at your disposal. Our three teenage children appreciated the high-speed internet while my husband and I took in the...

Ten stair steps from street to lobby. Alternatively, around the corner from the main entrance is an unprotected, exposed to the elements, locked door. Call ahead to hotel in order alert staff who will provde access to and operate a stair lift. Time from call to lobby was about ten minutes. No shower grab bar. There was an accident alarm...

Very conveniently located in the heart of the city. Magnificient décor, impeccably maintained down to the details (which is not easy to accomplish). Clean and functional. In a Senior Suite on first floor, I could sleep well. Perhaps because of the low season, breakfast was being served downstairs underground instead of on the top floor, which I thought was a...

This hotel is the classic elegant old fashioned hotel. The service is friendly and competent. The common areas are elegant and cosy. The room was spacious and stylish. The location is within walking distance to most attractions, and all around you'll find a lot of little local restaurants.

This is a classic old hotel in the old part of town. Very central to all the sights, markets and port. The hotel has seen its better days and is VERY tired. Poor wifi. The breakfast was only average. The rooms were dark and dreary with poor beds and sheets. Many better options in Palermo.

Little is there that could be improved in this classic hotel. Not hip or fashionable. Just traditional Grand Hotel style. Amenities are top notch and so is the concierge. It is not cheap but value for money is not bad.

The Wagner is a lovely older hotel set in a handy location. Our room was clean and comfortable and the bath was good. The public rooms are lovely. We found in easy to zip around Palermo to visit the sights. Just a block away was a nice collection of restaurants, ranging from inexpensive to not so inexpensive. We ate at...

We were traveling with a tour company and do not know the price but room 219 was large and comfortable. Curiously, it had a heated towel bar that was never warm. Breakfast was extensive, just about anything you could want. Good service in all respects. Electrical plugs were very loose in the room and it was hard to find one...

While accommodating the staff, with exception of housekeeping and a waitress are a little grumpy (five star?). They did allow me to check in quite early without a hassle and my room is very nice even though I got a great deal on a pre-paid site. The water pressure is very good, the shower small but better than most I...

I'd like to be able to give this another half star, as it is not too bad at all. Like much about Palermo it is tired and a little run down, but the staff are excellent. We were very happy with our room which was clean and well tended. Great breakfasts upstairs. The elevator music system was quite alarming as...
