Good location near newer part of the city. Friendly reception and happy to speak English which was nice as this was our first hotel on our travels. Breakfast had a good selection of pastries, fruits, cereals, meats, cheeses etc. Rooms a bit dusty in places but I suppose. Spa in hotel and decent. No wifi in rooms, only cable. Overall...

Its a place with a history but its obvious that it needs serious renovAtion, painnting and changing of the carpets. Its a pitty as its a nice hotel. During the summer better choose a hotel With a pool to relax and cool a bit during a day

(I´m not writting English very well) Wagner Hotel is a very good place to stay. Good location, charming staterooms, pretty accesories (shampoos, bathroobe, towels, bath slippers, letter paper and pencil, etc). I suffered the chaos of the outside music but the hotel staff launch a inmediatly solution and change us for another room. I consider it has a Great Value....

The building hosting this hotel is really beautiful and charming, location is perfect being close to Piazza Politeama (very nice central suburb in Palermo) and staff is nice. However it's also located close to a place with very loud music till about 2am, maybe weekends is not the right time for your stay! Breakfast could be better.

We went as a group of 4 couples. Generally we were treated very well with a couple of exceptions. We like to have a nightcap in our room. On one night, the night staff kicked up a fuss about delivering ice to our room and wanted to add a service charge!! He finally brought some, was very rude and deliberately...

If Richard Wagner had owned a hotel, this would have been a good choice. It is all strum und drang. Staying here, in the center of chaotic Palermo Can creates conflicting emotions. The hotel has been nicely overdone in gilt romantic touches. The location is good. But everything else makes you crazy. They have a fitness room WHICH IS NEVER...

Other reviews mentioned the overly gilt decor, which I found charming. It is over the top with frills, and the rooms are dark and small, but comfy enough. Front desk staff is unhelpful but okay. No robes, cheap toiletries and cramped bathrooms make this place feel like a 2 or 3 star at best. Having said that it is okay...

Terrific location in central Palermo. Near great shopping, cool wine bars, good restaurants, and both main theaters. Lovely public and private rooms. But there are two negatives: (1) To get wi-fi, you have to go down to the lounge and pay for it in 1-hour intervals. Seems to me a 5-star hotel should provide it free in your room. (2)...

Excellent service. The staff took extra measures to make sure we were comfortable. However, it was surprising that a 5 star hotel did not have free wifi (charged 6.50 euros a day). The hairdryer and toileteries were definitely not 5 star. Watery shampoo+body wash and motel-like hair dryer. Breakfast could've definitely been a little better. The variety reminded me of...
