We really enjoyed our stay here. The accommodation was good, clean and comfortable. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. Only criticism is that kitchen equipment was limited but only a problem if you intend to do a lot of cooking! We didn't! Would definitely go again

We stayed for three nights during our road trip exploring Sicily. The Villa is located very close to Syracuse and the baroque hill towns of the south east are easily accessible. The hosts, Michele and Clara, were very, very helpful. When we arrived we realized that we had left valuables at the previous hotel. Both were extremely helpful in making...

Tucked away in the countryside near Syracuse, this old nicely refurbished 'villa padronale' is surrounded by a luscious garden and a beautiful swimming pool. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, fresh breakfast, great staff - a most relaxing hotel indeed. Highly recommended if you are travelling to Syracuse by car. Restaurants in nearby Isola are right on the sea shore, with...

This is my second stay in Villa Fanusa. We wanted an affordable yet stylish hotel with pool from which to visit Syracuse, and we picked Villa Fanusa again. Relatively small hotel with friendly staff. Large, modern and clean rooms, quality bathroom, great pool and gardens, decent breakfast. The only problem was the WIFI. We were told sometimes there were problems...

We spent a week in Villa Fanusa and we highly recommend this hotel. Great location, spacious and clean rooms. The breakfast was very good and diverse, including cheese, yougurts, fruits and many kind of homemade croissants and cakes. The staff is very friendly and kind and always ready to help with all requests. If you would like to experience Sucilian...

This small hotel is an old villa with a large garden with flowers and olive trees. Don't expect pampering but the quiet location and beautiful big pool make this a nice spot to relax in. The poolside restaurant has the best mussels in a tomato basil soup. One of the best I ever had. The pizzas are large and made...

We had a very nice stay in Villa Fanusa. For 5 days and nights, we could enjoy the luxury of a very nice room that was blameless cleaned every day. Above the nice rooms with good beds and sanitary, the staff was always very friendly and personal. Not all of them were speaking fluent English or other languages than Italian,...

Just returned from a 12 day stay at the Villa Fanusta. The accommodation is faultless and the staff excellent, especially Francesca, who made our stay even more welcoming. The room was a good size and led to the pool, yards away. The pool and beds were always a welcome site after a days outing. The breakfast was varied, though we...

Although the hotel is actually lovely all that is totally let down by the connected restaraunt who seem to have open air disco most evenings with music so loud until 3am so don't expect any sort of early night!! I'm not surprised the hotel is mainly empty as any complaint about the music just gets passed over with comments that...

We stayed at Villa Fanusa having read reviews and seen the pics on trip advisor. The villa is well maintained and appears to be an older building which has been gutted inside and modernised extensively and now includes a very good restaurant an Pizzeria within the grounds. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially to a non Italian speaker like...
