Just back from another trip to Taormina and stay in Villa Diodoro. Staff as usual are very pleasant, especially Guilia, Fancesca, Antonio and Manuel. Rooms are well proportioned and have stunning views of The see and Etna. Birds singing in the park next store make for a great stay. Prices have gone up and the breakfasts are not as good...

Yes the hotel could do with a bit of paint and TLC but it is in a great spot and 2 minute walk from the centre of town. The views from the pool must rank up there as some of the best in the world. It is a base to explore an amazing island and the food at dinner was...

Breakfast handy, asked for the bacon to be cooked further as it looked like it had been boiled. Decent hotel- the view was a major plus! Short walk from the main strip. Friendly staff. €100 a taxi from the airport.

This Hotel is stuck in the 19th century. Very old school. Carpets needs to be replaced. Took us 1 hour to find the hotel once we arrived in Taormina. Calling the hotel 6 times did not help. They did not know any of the landmarks we gave them. Upon arrival, we did not receive a warm reception. We did not...

As part of a tour group we were booked into this very well located hotel for two nights. Located overlooking the water with outstanding views of an active mount Etna we had a very comfortable twin room. The relaxing areas around the hotel with gardens, pool and outstanding views made for a very pleasant stay. The hotel restaurant was very...

One of the most difficult hotels to find by car. It was over 45 minutes from the time we took the Taormina exit off of the Autostrade to when we finally found the hotel. Clear directions from the hotel would have been very helpful. When we finally arrived, the staff treated us in a most flippant manner. Answers to our...

Just recently returned after two weeks at this hotel the staff were helpful and friendly and despite me only having a basic Sicilian language the people wherever you went understood and even helped and had a laugh at my errors but nevertheless appreciated that I tried. For those who have been before, the restaurant changed the meal setup two years ago...
