Just recently returned after two weeks at this hotel the staff were helpful and friendly and despite me only having a basic Sicilian language the people wherever you went understood and even helped and had a laugh at my errors but nevertheless appreciated that I tried. For those who have been before, the restaurant changed the meal setup two years ago...

Lovely place, with nice staff, cozy rooms and clean! Nice view and next to hotel is public garden, which is beautiful peaceful place. Next time when I decide to visit Taormina, for sure I stay again in this hotel!

The Villa Diodoro has a most fabulous and gorgeous dining room. The breakfast offerings were delicious and we enjoyed eating in such a lovely and elegant space. While located off the beaten track, the location offered a number of great restaurants on the way up the hill to the city center. The views of the sea from the balcony in...

The view from our room was surreal...couldn't stop looking out at the sea, city, and Mt Etna. We found the staff helpful and courteous. The location is close to the central city and in easy walking distance. We were there in November so it wasn't crowded...very quiet (at least until the last night when a very loud lady who spent...

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Diodoro. The location was perfect for sightseeing and for relaxing. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was very large. We sat by the pool for a couple of hours enjoying drinks and the amazing view. Breakfast was standard, the dining room is nice. There are plenty of public spaces, indoor and outdoor...

We loved it here! Room with terrace overlooking sea and Mt. Etna was comfortable. Spent relaxing day at pool, drinks and snacks were refreshing and delicious. Dinner at restaurant was just wonderful. Location perfect for shopping and people watching. Shuttle to beach was quick and convenient. Can't wait to return!

Our room had only a Juliet balcony, and problems it the drawers in the wardrobes, which although reported twice, we're not addressed. Also, the entertainment, a guy on the could have keyboard could have been better. Apart from this, the staff in the dining room were extremely friendly and helpful, the head waiter, the wine waiter Giovani, and our waitress...

What a surprise! You enter a fancy dining room only to learn it has a breath taking view of the coast and Mount Etna. The rooms are a good size - including the bathrooms. Get to, and parking, can be very challenging, only because Taormino is so steep and winding. Wifi is not reliable.

Although we had a great holiday here, I don't think we would go back. The position of the hotel is perfect in relation to the town but overall the hotel needs some improvements. The pool area was its best feature - gorgeous with views of etna. The dining room was a bit disappointing. My husband loves cooked breakfast on holiday...
