Although this is rated as a 2* hotel the owner is 5*!It is possibly the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in, the bedrooms are decorated in a typical scililian manner with amazing views, the bathroom is more than adequate, the breakfast is good with great coffee, freshly squeezed OJ and tasty pastries, the small bar downstairs is very reasonable...

We stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony and a spectacular view of the straits of Messina. I chose the hotel because of its proximity to the bus station (across the street) and the reviews. Considering the price and the engaging owner, Mauro, I have no complaints – it is a two star hotel and our room had...

Three of us stayed two nights at the end of September 2011. Conveniently located right across the road from the bus station, but in this town, that's not a bad thing. The hotel rooms are nice and quiet and it was very handy to just cross the street with our luggage! We had lovely seaviews from our rooms. We enjoyed...

Mauro makes this place! The hotel is clean, simple and well located just outside of the major pedestrian walkway of the town. Two of the top three TA restaurants are on the same street. The rooms are on the small side with older furniture but are clean and adequate. We had a room with a balcony which was furnished with...

We only stayed one night here but it exceeded our expectations. This place seems to have been recently renovated. Our room had double-glass windows so you could not hear any noise coming from the street (even though our window gave to the main street) Mauro was indeed very nice and gave us all kind of useful information. This place is...

I recommend this hotel for its charm, its owner (Mauro)whom is very welcoming (offering you a coffee when you arrive and serving a really great brakfast included in the price). The location is just perfect: in front of the terminal bus staion, 5mn from the...

This charming B&B provided everything we needed for our stay. Located near the cable car station made it easy to reach both the beach and the town centre. The room was very comfortable and airy and the view over the bay was fantastic. Mauro, the owner was delightful and his recommendations for restaurants and beaches were spot on.The small garden...

I would recomment staying at this hotel without giving it the second thought. Mauro and his family really make you feel like home. He is the pinnacle of customer service - helpful advices, booking restaurants, helping with sun burns, making great cappuccinos in the morning. He even treated us with champagne when our freinds stopped by to visit us. The...
