Pros: We were welcomed by one of the owners who was very friendly as was his sister who was there at breakfast. They were both lovely. The breakfast spread was very good with fresh fruit, buttery croissants & cheese/meats/breads/yoghurts; we had dinner one night & that too was nice. The views of mount Etna from the hotel & rooms was... More

I am a solo woman stayed at the Hotel Villa Greta in October 2016. The hotel is situated way above the city centre and has magnificent jaw dropping views of Mt.Etna and the sparkling sea below. The hotel is a good 20 minutes to half an hour walking uphill on the narrow roads with many hairpin bends, from the bus... More

Villa Greta is a well run friendly hotel with secure parking for three cars. The views from our terrace and dining areas were fantastic. The hotel has a lot of steps at the front as it is built on a hill. Not so many steps from the back. Was shown a quick route down to the town by one of... More

The owners were very welcoming, the rooms mediocre, but had clean and spacious bathrooms. Nice breakfast with local specialties, although the waiter hated his job. The view of Taormina and the volcano from our room balcony, was breathtaking. Wi fi only outside in the balcony, not in the rooms....

This was a wonderful family run hotel with a stunning view of Taormina and Mount Etna. We received a great reception, and enjoyed a cold drink a freshly prepared meal of cold meats and cheeses. You must have a meal at the hotel restaurant as this is well worth it. Taormina has some steep hills around it, so this hotel... More

9 friends and I had a lovely stay at Villa Greta. It's a lovely, family owned hotel which offers a lovely view of Mt Etna, 10 minute walk to the Main Street of Taormina and a nice breakfast. The staff were kind enough to prepare us a breakfast to eat before our early morning departure on our final morning. They... More

We spent a week at this fabulous small hotel above Taormina. Family-owned hotel staff was helpful as far as possible, the service is fast and friendly in all cases. The room was clean with fantastic sea view. The air-condition was well-functioning and quiet, the breakfast was hearty and delicious. We will be happy to go back any time... Egy hetet töltöttünk... We loved this family run hotel - I wanted to stay somewhere with a balcony with a view of Etna and this delivered totally. I loved sitting on the balcony watching the ever changing volcano.
