An extraordinarily warm Welcome and Farewell, elegant surroundings, intellectual stimulation, and authentic hospitality - there is nothing "hotel-ish" about Casa Cuseni - you will feel like you are in the home of a friend. There are plenty of steps to navigate but the gardens, historical artifacts and books along the way are worth the climb. We stayed in the rooftop... More

Beautiful old home, Daphne Phelps has written about it and wonderful to see. Tours are only at 11:30 am so plan ahead. Walking distance from Corso Umberto (up the hill). Grounds and the story are great

We visited because we are on holiday in Taormina and my wife was reading Daphne Phelps' book A House in Sicily. The house opens as a museum 11.30 to 12.30 and a visit is a must. The guide was so knowledgeable and interesting that she bought alive the history, intrigue and humanity of this amazing villa which had been home... More

We booked this as a treat when travelling around and sleeping in a van. It certainly was a treat. A lovely welcome, a beautiful room with a small private terrace overlooking Taormina. A breath taking oasis above crowded Taormina with wonderful views from the bedroom and terrace towards Etna and the bay. We had a comfortable beautifully furnished room and a modern well fitted bathroom with walk in powerful shower. Take time to absorb the history, art and garden of this special place. The staff are very knowledgeable and really care about... More

This B&B is a little above downtown Taormina, with stunning views across the bay. The staff (Clelia) were very friendly, and the rooms large, clean, and exceedingly charming! There are also a couple of rooms that Clelia will show which aren't really for guests, but which have highly interesting paintings from Henry Moore, and another artist who scandalously painted a... Beautiful location, gorgeous house and gardens, with a history all of their own, staffed by attentive and courteous people who want to make sure your stay is as good as it can be. And then, you walk out the gate into the wonderful town of Taormina. Who could ask for more?
