Only positive thing is the location and every thing mentioned about room & breakfast are false. Sorry to write a negative statement due to the way they are cheating the people. I had given one star since there is no possibility to give MINUS 5 (-5). I had never seen a worst breakfast in my life and such little quantities (5 cherry fruit, 1 piece watermelon etc...) and no buffet using covid excuse ! And they started by giving a tiny room for 2 persons even though I had paid a heavy price for a large room with a double bed. REAL CHEATING and PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL.

A beautiful hotel with fantastic views, the most friendly and attentive staff we had booked to go back in April but due to the pandemic it was cancelled, we will however be returning as soon as we can and hope that all at the hotel and the area are safe and well. Till we meet again, Bella ciao Neil & Vivien

Incredibly supportive staff at Reception. ALWAYS there: endless valuable tips on seeing the sights in excellent English/Italian. Charming, polite housekeepers & waiters. Sparkling, roomy rooms - recent redecoration in & outside. A breakfast or local supper to look forward to, in a dining room alongside the sea - bay beautiful, day & night. Sunny early October weather, but a treat to step outside to the beach one warm rainy evening & marvel at a stormy sea. Bus stop outside, or a 20-min walk to town & cable car. Stick to the side of the road & watch the traffic: use common sense & you will be safe. Nice scenery. The odd train passes the hotel but low decibel: no problem.

Situated on the coast of Taormina at Mazzarò is this good family hotel, excellent staff who were very friendly and helpful, comfortable room & pleasant gardens. Jonny & his wife (the chef) were helpful & accommodating. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

All the staff were absolutely excellent in this slightly old fashioned hotel. There is a private access to the beach and it is only 500 metres from the cable car going up to the main town of Taormina. The views are wonderful and the garden a delight with lots of areas of terracing and places to lounge and relax. Breakfast good and the dinner menu although limited was nicely done. The only thing to be aware of is the stairs, there are a lot of them which if you are not easily able to use stairs could be a bit of a problem. The train track can be noisy. It won't stop us returning there though. We loved the place.
