Beautiful setting! Close enough to drive to several other towns. The entire staff is wonderful - and I mean all of the staff! Very courteous and helpful - I just can't say enough. Chef Gabriella prepares wonderful menus with fresh meats, produce etc. Take the cooking class too - you won't regret it - and take your camera! I hope...

If there is a one place to book without any hesitation is Villa di Piazzano. First of all everyone from the staff is fantastic, whether it is a the front desk staff who is always ready to help with directions for biking, hiking, winery bookings or any other requests or the girls in the restaurant staff who are an absolute...

We were in Italy for a 40th anniversary and this was the second leg of our trip, sandwiched between Florence and Rome. It was a perfect country retreat. We stayed in the cottage outside of the main house, next to the pool. The food was delicious, the staff was very courteous and helpful, the grounds were impeccably kept, and the...

We spent six glorious days at Villa di Piazzano with our two children ages 12 and 14. We had two rooms connected by a private hall. It could not have been better. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were outstanding! The hotel is quiet but offered a beautiful pool, bikes, and hiking for our family. The staff was...

OK, Not the easiest place to find. They recommend arriving during daylight and I doubt you stand a chance at night. But once you figure it out (we did it on the first try so it isn't all that bad) you will know that it is worth it. The property is gorgeous, our room in them main building was spacious...

my wife and I enjoyed everything about Villa di Piazzano - rooms and views were very nice - all of the Villa people we dealt with were friendly, helpful, and enjoyable - secluded setting made it more special - nearby hillside town of Cortona was easy to get to and enjoyable. Only issue was it's pretty far from Florence, so...

Reading the reviews for this hotel before I booked it someone described it as a model for excellence - I can't agree more or describe it better! The hotel and grounds are beautiful, the staff so friendly and professional. My husband calls me the Hotel Inspector because I am so fussy - however Hotel Piazzano was faultless and we didn't...

Finding Villa di Piazzano was not easy but it was worth the effort. From the gracious welcome the staff were effortlessly attentive and at ease making the entire stay both relaxed and yet perfectly elegant. The rooms and grounds were impeccable and the food prepared in the restaurant was also delicious as well as creative. We are always worried about...

We stayed at the Villa di Piazzano for a fortnight, using it as our base for travelling around Tuscany and Umbria. We were so well looked after - lovely room, excellent staff, great food. Although it is close to Cortona, it is in a lovely rural setting, and has its own formal gardens. Great pool. Everything was first class. And...

We just returned from our honeymoon trip to Italy. Our last stay was at Villa di Piazzano - it was amazing! The property is beautiful and has been completely restored with modern amenities. The pool is lovely, the only downside being occasional horseflies and mosquitos (pack your bug spray in case). The restaurant and chef are wonderful, we ate here...
