I stayed here with my family in March of 2016. We really liked our rooms, the area and the family that runs it. Good access to Cortona and the nearby train station. The owners also give cooking classes and great advice/recommendations for transportation, restaurants, wineries etc. Barbara personally drove with us to the train station and helped us buy tickets...

This is the most beautiful place in the Tuscan area. The family is so warm and make you very comfortable in being at their place. The cooking class is so fun, reminding me of my Nona!! They make you feel at home there!!

We had a great time at Rosa dei Venti. Great hosts. Rosa dei Venti is very central situated in the south of Tuscany. Cities are easily to visit by car. We had such a good time that we made a reservation for next year.

We stayed there for about three and a half weeks. For a couple with a small baby, Rosa dei Venti is a perfect choice. No need to worry about traffic etc. Most days were spent making daytrips to nearby towns and villages. You do need a car to get around but otherwise the location is wonderful. Lots of really nice...

What a wonderful, memorable vacation! We enjoyed a terrific cooking class with Barbara and her mother--and explored so many areas within a day's drive. We found a cozy, friendly restaurant in Foiano which we visited often and we enjoyed shopping everywhere! And Barbara was always there to answer our questions, provide guides and advice, and just to visit with. What...

My family (4 adults and 2 teenage boys) stayed with Barbara and Stefano in their beautiful family villa for 1 week. We rented the 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment and loved every minute. The villa is situated in the heart of the region of Tuscany and many sights including Florence are easily accessed. Florence is about 1 1/2 hours by train...

We had a family vacation -16 in all - and chose the Villa Rosa dei Venti for our cooking school. The Villa is pristine, beautifully situated. Barbara, Ornellie, and Stephano were gracious, warm and fun to be with for our cooking experience. The time we spent at Barbara's cooking school was the highlight of our week in Tuscany. The food...

Barbara and Stefano were wonderful hosts, always there to help and give suggestions. Our Libecchio cottage was lovely- quiet and private, with cooking facilities. Barbara showed us where the Penny grocery store was, and we enjoyed shopping there and also at the local outdoor markets, planning our evening meals. The environment is beautiful, and the location very handy to many...
