We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was an excellent choice. The hotel itself is gorgeous. Our room was spacious and wonderfully decorated with traditional Italian antique furniture. It was very clean and comfortable. We booked a twin room and were delighted with the room we were given which had 2 large double beds in it (there...

This family run hotel in Cortona is a gem in the historic centre. Excellent location, found within a few minutes from the main piazza of the town. It has spacious, clean rooms and a fantastic restaurant with a really good wine list. The family, and especially Paola, is the most welcoming and hospitable hostess!

My wife and I returned to Cortona with our seven year old daughter, ten years after having married here. Unfortunately, the room we had reserved was not available when we arrived, but we moved there the tower room) for the last night of our stay. The wifi in our first room, at the top of the stairs, above the breakfast...

So my husband, mother and I stayed for one night and rented a double and a single room. Keeping in mind that in Cortona, everything is UPHILL, we parked at the Etruscan gate near Via Ghibellina (free parking lot) and walked up from there. Its just a couple of blocks up and a block over. We planned accordingly and brought...

We only had one night at Dolce Maria, but would love to stay in this beautifully restored building again. The rooms are large and are furnished with beautiful antique furniture. Paola and her family looked after us and our breakfast, including freshly made cake, was delightful. It was a great experience to stay within the walls of Cortona with views...

We stayed at this B & B for two nights. Our room was on the top floor, with rustic wooden rafters. The staff made us feel right at home, and the food was delicious.

When we arrived Paola the owner was waiting for us and grabbed my suitcase and carried up 3 flights of stairs to our room that over looked the court yard. She told us to get...

We spent 4 nights in the B&B Dolce Maria, in Cortona, Tuscany. Arrived from Florence by train at the Camucia-Cortona station. We were almost caught out by the short platform and long train, being in the last carriage meant having to jump on to the platform with our suitcases! Having avoided disaster there, we walked straight out to find the...
