One of my favorite hotels in Italy so far. The lobby is lovely and modern and those working at the front desk were both helpful and inviting. It is located right off Via Nazionale, a short 5 minute walk to the main Piazza. The view from the hotel is truly spectacular, especially from the restaurant where the complementary breakfast is...

We came across this hotel by chance for very good price for a really nice place. In addition to cleanliness, order and kindness surely you must register a unique landscape with a breathtaking view, especially at sunset. The breakfast is a little below average, not only for the choice but also for the space, but this for me is definitely...

I must admit that the place - structure, decor, balcony - is spectacular. When i saw the lobby I felt inlove with the place. The room was not as nice as the hotel structure, but I'd like to think I got the less pretty because I was with my pets. Even so, I give them a good review, because the...

I do many tours to Tuscany and we frequently use the Hotel San Luca as home base to explore this region of Tuscany from Florence to Assisi. The staff and service at the hotel are always excellent and some have become friends who welcome us each time we stay. I will agree with some of the reviews that the rooms...

Lovely staff, lovely location with a great view. Italian styled rooms but everything ok. Price/value is this top. The only thing they should sort out is how the drinks on the terrace work. The staff of the restaurant in the same building is not hotel staff and they are rude.

Hotel San Luca is situated in great location a short distance from the top of the escalator leading up from the city parking lot, making it easy to get in and out. The hotel, which seems to "hang" off the side of the hill, offers beautiful views and a helpful staff. Our room was a bit spare, but comfortable; a...

Our room , although somewhat dated , was clean and comfortable and had a huge balcony with great views of the countryside. The location was ideal in terms of both proximity to the city center and free parking. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of the typical Italian fare but it is advisable to arrive early. The staff were...

I agree with other reviewers the rooms are very dated and basic they lack all vestiges of comfort : our room is very cold and heating inadequate. Breakfast was poor . A good view but little else to recommend it .

In the rooms overlooking the vista, there are balconies and the view is amazing. Rooms facing away from the valley do not get the balcony, and get the not so great view of an alley. The rooms are typical European size- but are comfortable and functional. Good water pressure, nice shower but small for larger folks. Climate controls work well...
