We arrived early in the day, about 2pm, and were greeted with tea and coffee while they finished preparing our room. We were shown the logistics of entry/exit and everyone we met seemed very nice. We tried using the communal computer and printer to print a confirmation email and were not able to print with that printer, so they allowed...

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Locanda dei Poeti. The reception was kind and very helpful. The room pleasant and well appointed with excellent bed. The feeling of welcome was enhanced by the thoughtful touches like things you may have forgotten. Kitchen was generous and easy to access. Altogether I would heartily recommend this lovely place to enjoy Firenze. Margot...

Martina is a friendly host, who provided a map and good recommendations in English. Only a few blocks from the train station, great restaurants, and near all of the major attractions. The room is small, clean, and comfortable. There are no windows to the outside, only to an air well so it is very quiet. The breakfast vouchers allow you...

This bed and breakfast is conveniently situated within 5 minute walk from the central train station in Florence and the Fiera convention center. While it lacks 24 hour attendance in the front desk, Irene and Martina will put you at easy during your whole stay. My room was the Dante room, good enough for 1 person, very clean and with...

The host, Martina, was very accommodating to my request. More specifically, I was travelling alone for the first 3 days of the stay in Florence. My fiance arrived and we stayed for 4 additional nights. She offered a single room for the first 3 night and then a double room for the rest of the trip. I was away during...

Made a late night online booking and staff was already home for the night, but responded quickly and got us tucked in for a great nights sleep with breakfast at the café across the street! The price was comparatively low for the night we stayed. Very close to the station and not far from the attractions. Oh and the guitar...

I’d describe this B&B as more like a boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious and the double beds very comfy. The colourful rooms are inviting. In the heat of summer, the much needed air-con was definitely a plus. The owners add a lot of nice little touches, like a bottle of mineral water and biscuits in the room upon arrival....

Stayed 3 nights in September. The rooms are very aesthetically decorated. The Lorenzo the Magnificent room was very spacious and clean. Nice sized bathroom which was spotlessly clean. The hotel is just off Via Nazionale (10 min walking distance from Firenze SMN train station, as well as the Duomo) which can be a busy street during the day but the...

Don't stay anywhere else than this place. So beautiful it's hard to imagine. If they had more stars I would give them an 11! If you wanted to you could stay right there the entire time. Guitar room, kitchenette, fantastic Internet, business center. Everything. Thanks Martina! Xoxoxo!

We had a great stay at Locanda. One of the owners, Martina, was very kind to receive us and introduce us to Firenze. We visited some of her suggestions for sights and food and were glad we did. The place is not luxurious, but we did not expect that, and found it reasonable compared to the price, especially given the...
