Would definitely stay here again and recommend this B&B to every one of all ages. A/C was WONDERFUL for the sweltering August heat, felt like you had your own...

Thanks for your good review but please do not compare this place to an hotel. Would you complain for no cooking service in a food shop or compare it to a restaurant? Certainly not , it would be inappropriate so i wonder why some guests need to complain about, or just underline, the missing hotel services when they know that...

On one of the main streets in Florence - with the Duomo at one end and the Uffizi museum at the other end - very lively. It could be a little noisy for some folks, but it was not a problem for us. The hotel does provide you with ear plugs if you need :) The room was neat and...

Being a female solo traveller, this is a perfect place and location. It is in the center of the city and walking distance from everything. Best Gelato place right across from the front door.. the lift is great as well and such easy access and check-in. it doesn't matter which way you head out (left or right) when leaving the...

I was extremely satisfied... the room was tastefully decorated and ample in size. The location was terrific. We had room #4, it was very quiet and the AC was very efficient. Staff was also friendly and helpful...you won't be disappointed!

This was my second trip to Florence, and I couldn't believe where we were staying! The location is perfect if your keen to be right in the middle of things. For the price we paid, I was not expecting anything nearly as good as this! It is important to note this isn't a hotel and is only staffed in the...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
