Hard to find at the first time because the houses have different numbers to comercial and residential houses. The price is very accessible and the staff is very friendly. we stayed in the reserved room with shared bathroom. The bathrooms are very clean and the number is good enough for the number of rooms (The floor we stayed were 4... More

Location:the Hostel is very very close to the city center of Florence, which is great, but quite difficult to get there by car [gps - tom tom gets confused, others don't find it at all] Rooms: we stayed in a 6 bed room. quite small for so many people, but clean and comfortable beds. If you ask me what I expected for 15€ each it is true but really the guy from the hostel is ok. He tries to pay for what the room lacks, doing his best but unless you are really very poor try to avoid this place.

The flat (not hostel) was located in a very central location - 2 minutes away from the uffizi museum. Unfortunately that's all i can say about the place. The whole flat seems to have been converted into a makeshift hostel, and the room which we stayed in came off the worst, with the appearance of it having once been either... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
