It was nice to stretch out here after some smaller hotel rooms. We were glad we stayed in Oltranto. We didn't fix meals in the kitchen as we stayed only three nights in Florence. The staff is friendly and helpful, but make any local arrangements through them the day before, as they don't arrive until 1000 hours, and leave around... More

Paulo, the director and his staff member, Marwan went above and beyond. The service here is exceptional. Nothing was too difficult and they made us feel extremely welcome and let us know we could call anytime if we had any questions. Very knowledgeable about the local area and happy to share insider tips. Excellent restaurants, bakeries and organic fruit markets... More

We stayed here over Easter, the location is great! walking distance to all the major sights yet out of the way from the worst of the tourist crowds. Felt like our own little slice of Italian life. There are a couple of tiny supermarkets and bakeries nearby for breakfast and lots of good restaurants around. The owner is extremely helpful,... More

We stayed at Florent for three nights. The situation is great, a few minutes walk to Ponte Vecchio in a quiet street right next to a beautiful square and the church of Spirito Santo. The owner, Paolo, and Mario were very friendly and helpful. We had a one bedroom apartment on the first floor so the stairs were not a... More

The apartment was within walking distance of everything in the old town, while being in a quiet location. Lovely little apartment, had everything we needed, very comfortable and such great value. Owner and staff (maybe owner's family?) very friendly and helpful. The one and only downside was no lift, and three floors up after a day's walking was hard on... More

Summary: location of accommodation altered, smell of sewage in alternative apartment! I am only finally getting round to writing this a year later - while on holiday again so I have the time! What an odd scenario this turned out to be: we booked to stay at Florent via Expedia a month or so in advance to stay early June... More

We were in the heart of the Oltrarno district, on a street lined with artist studios. A walk to the bridge from our apartment was nothing short of amazing. Local cafes, amazing food, steps away from the palace of Pitti - the apartment itself was extremely comfortable. 2 bedrooms, two washrooms and a bathroom. Bedding was the best Ive slept... More

We stayed here for two nights on a quick trip to Firenze. It was close to Palazzo Pitti and the Ponte Vecchio. You can walk everywhere in this city. Nearby grocery and vegetable market. Great apartments in the center of Florence - just minutes away from the pitti palace and about a 10/15 minute walk to the Duomo. The hotel owner was very welcoming and gave us lots of information and recommendations about what to see and where to eat etc. The accommodation is not a hotel - only apartments so they are not...
